The new 2013 Triumph Boneville moves the Boneville heritage further, continuing a successful story that began 50 years ago in the 1960s. The modern Bonneville offers a perfect mix between the classic lines of its ancestors and a series of modern technologies designed to increase the bike’s performances and safety.

The 2013 Bonneville family includes two versions. The first features a late Seventies look (the Bonneville and Bonneville SE), while the second puts more accent on the pure 1960s style (the T100). All models are powered by the same 865cc fuel-injected parallel-twin unit that cranks out 67bhp @ 7500rpm and 68Nm of torque at 5800rpm. The fuel consumption is rated at 43 MPG city and 57 MPG highway.

The 2013 Triumph Bonneville SE sits on light, 17” five-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in front 110/70 R17 and rear 130/80 R17 tires.

Overview

The most famous name in motorcycling is as famous today as it was 50 years ago.

Built in the spirit of the all-conquering British twins that ruled the roads in the 1960s, the modern day Bonnevilles uniquely combine up-to-date design and manufacturing methods with traditional styling and attitude.

Whether you prefer the late Seventies look of the agile and accessible Bonneville and Bonneville SE, or the pure 1960s class of the wire-wheeled T100, your Bonneville will be powered by a thoroughly modern and reliable 865cc fuel-injected parallel-twin unit that oozes character and delivers enough go to match the show.

Few bikes attract as much attention as the Bonneville, which is probably why it attracts a wide range of riders that encompasses those who rode the original Meriden Bonnevilles, baby boomers who lusted after them and young riders who appreciate the timeless style and accessibility of a traditional motorcycle.

Bonneville still delivers a unique style and appeal unmatched by any other motorcycle. Enviable glances and engaging chat from passer-bys come as standard.

Triumph Bonneville SE

Bonneville SE. Extra pure Bonneville.

Take a Bonneville. Spec up. Enjoy. The most famous name in motorcycling. A legend. Over 50 years of engineering excellence. A thoroughly modern interpretation of the authentic 'proper' motorcycle. This iconic symbol of rebellion and independence is even more appealing thanks to its modern specification, low seat, fuel-injected 865cc engine and lightweight 17 inch alloys for even sharper handling. SE adds that little bit more: matching tacho and speedo, polished engine covers and traditional chrome tank badge. Optional two tone paint scheme with hand painted pinstripe.

The Bonneville SE takes all the qualities of the standard Bonneville and adds a higher specification for the more discerning rider.

Polished aluminium engine covers and chromed tank badges give the Bonneville SE that premium look while the addition of a tachometer lets the rider match perfectly the engine speed to gear selection. There’s also the choice of traditional two-tone paintwork options with a hand painted pinstriping, for riders who want maximum retro from their steed.

Otherwise the Bonneville SE retains all that is good about the standard model, with its 17” alloy wheels, megaphone silencers, short mudguards and low seat for maximum accessibility and minimum fuss.
