Kids today are a lot more sophisticated when it comes to their hobbies. Gone are the days when you can just put down a board game - or even a video game - and know where your kids are going to be for the next couple of hours.
But today, you'll have to be a lot more creative than that because the youth has developed new hobbies that we never would have thought of when we were their age. One of these examples is off-road biking and in the event your child gets into it, you're going to need a bike that you can trust.
That's where the Yamaha TT->ke2936-R110E comes in. Packed with plenty of kid-friendly features like electric starting, a reliable, air-cooled engine, and confidence-inspiring ergonomics, the TT-R110E is the perfect start-up bike for your aspiring motocross rider.
Of course, you're going to need to be around whenever your child rides a bike, but if you're in the market for a starter-upper that you can really trust, there are plenty of qualities in the TT-R110E that make it a great choice for your kids.

Design
The Yamaha TT-R110E is a YZ->ke2652-inspired off-road bike that may not look like an eye-catcher, but it does offer plenty of styling wrapped into an all-around, versatile package. It features a 26.4" seat height, which makes it accessible to most riders with just 7.1" of ground clearance, allowing it to go to places not a lot of bikes are capable. The bike also comes with a long, YZ-style gripper seat that's low, comfortable, and allows easy rider movement. Large, folding, cleated footpegs provide excellent footing, even in wet or muddy conditions. Finally, to add even more spice to the bike's design, Yahama dressed it up in their racing colors, complete with graphics and front and side number plates.
Performance
Powering the TT-R110E is a powerful 110cc air-cooled SOHC four-stroke powerplant that has been tuned for maximum off-road performance, thanks to a compact hemispherical combustion chamber with 9.3:1 compression that produces max horsepower at 7,5000 rpm and max torque at 4,000 rpm. The chamber is mated to a four-speed gearbox with an automatic clutch. A CDI ignition system is ultra-reliable and needs little to no maintenance. There's also an automatic cam chain tensioner and an easy-access, tool-free air filter that adds extra convenience during maintenance. Finally, a lightweight exhaust system features a quiet, USFS-approved spark arrestor.
Brakes and Suspension
With a steel backbone frame that ties the steering head and swingarm pivot together via a straight line with the engine mounted at three
places for maximum strength and high ground clearance, the Yamaha TT-R230 is fit for any occassion. A 31mm fork with high-tech internals including a damper valve with oil lock provides excellent damping, great bottoming resistance and 4.5" of smooth travel. A Monocross rear suspension pivots on a strong, 12mm shaft with a gusseted steel swingarm provides tremendous rear wheel control. Helping provide efficient handling for the TT-R110E is a die-cast aluminum top triple clamp while a 26.4" seat height and 7.1" of ground clearance, providing you smooth confidence and grade-A performance, even on the most hardened of off-road trails. 14" front and 12" rear wheels are also part of the package, as are front and rear drum brakes that deliver strong, dependable stopping power.
