The 2013 Yamaha Fazer8 ABS offers a great mix between comfort and practicality and is packed with a lot of modern features that help it tackle anything you’ll throw at it.
At the heart of the motorcycle lies a high-tech 779 cc inline 4-cylinder engine that cranks out 78.1 kW (106.2PS) at 10,000 rpm and 82.0 Nm (8.4 kg-m) of torque at 8,000 rpm. The engine is brought to life by an electric starter and is kept in leash by a modern constant mesh transmission.
The motorcycle is built on a supersportstyle lightweight aluminum Deltabox frame which is combined with an upside-down telescopic fork and a rear monoshock with spring preload adjustment.
You also get Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as standard equipment. This system helps you prevent front and rear wheel lock up while braking on slippery surfaces.

Equipped with forged pistons, a free-breathing 4-into-1 exhaust and a highly efficient fuel injection system, this slant-block engine kicks out impressive levels of low-down torque combined with thrilling top-end power.
Aluminium Deltabox frame
Yamaha’s Deltabox frame technology is one of the most advanced chassis designs in the industry. By combining low weight with high levels of rigidity, the Fazer8’s satin black aluminium frame ensures supersport levels of handling and stability. And for low unsprung weight, the Fazer8 runs with a high-tech CF die cast aluminium swing arm.
The Fazer8’s understated style is probably quite like most of its owners - it likes to get on with its business without making too much of a fuss about it. Adjustable front and rear suspension
Fazer8 riders are the kind of owners who use their bikes for a variety of roles.To enhance its versatility we’ve equipped this high-performance allrounder with adjustable front and rear suspension systems giving 130 mm travel at each end, allowing you fine-tune the chassis to suit different loads, riding styles and conditions.
ABS as standard
The Fazer8 is also available with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). This advanced system is designed to prevent front and rear wheel lock up while braking - particularly on loose or slippery surfaces. As well as being an extremely useful and practical feature, it can also give added rider confidence.
