Low-maintenance, durable brakes
The EnduraDrive Transaxle with Internal Disc Brake Technology uses a completely enclosed disc brake system. This eliminates brake drums and shoes, needs only one brake cable, and is projected - based on extensive tests - to have an incredibly long life with ultra-low maintenance.
Industry-leading electric motor
Manufactured by Hitachi, the high-quality electric motor is efficient, whisper-quiet, and one of the most powerful in the industry. Its internal components are nickel-plated and stainless steel for corrosion resistance, and it it features its own internal solid state tachometer.
Supreme comfort seat
The industry’s largest, most comfortable seat features deep, supportive contours, which help to hold occupants in place when moving. Designed to accommodate users of all heights and sizes, it’s strengthened against sagging by plated steel inserts.
The sturdy ClimaGuard™ top, which is extended in the front and rear, offers all-round protection against sun and rain. Its 360 degree double rain channel - with no-clog water drainage system - ensures efficient drainage even in heavy rain.
Strong, lightweight chassis
Nearly 20 percent lighter and 2.5 times stronger than its predecessor, Yamaha’s HybriCore™ chassis combines an automotive, ladder-style frame with a polypropylene structural floor. Its unique design provides added strength and protects the batteries.
A stylish, car-inspired dashboard design includes four cup holders, a central storage area for personal items, six ball holders, six tee holders, and a big, easy-to-clean storage compartment on each side.
Tru-Trak II suspension
Yamaha’s maintenance free Tru-Trak II Suspension is fully independent at the front. It uses automotive-style, coil-over shock struts to minimise roll and delivers a smooth, comfortable ride.
Easy diagnostics and programming
Yamaha’s Genius 2 system lets users communicate with the G29’s motor control unit, using any common PDA with an infrared wireless connection. In addition, it enables customisation of speed and regenerative braking; stores and displays battery and vehicle data; and provides diagnostic and troubleshooting information when needed.
