Features

Yamaha WR125R

At Yamaha, we don’t see a smaller engine capacity as a limiting factor. We see it as an opportunity. That’s why our 125cc models deliver performance and style unlike any other bikes in their class.

Whether you want a punchy runaround for the city streets, a rugged off-road machine for weekends in the wild, or a classically-styled cruiser complete with teardrop tank and high bars, you’ll find it in the 125cc range.

Each bike is shot through with the DNA of its larger capacity brothers and comes packed with the kind of rider-focused high-tech features that have become synonymous with the Yamaha name.

High-performance engine

Yamaha WR125R

A fuel-injected, liquid-cooled 4-stroke SOHC engine delivers instant, free-revving performance. The addition of a 6-speed gearbox ensures that you’re always on the power - whether crawling up a dirt mound or opening the throttle on the open road.

Motocross-inspired chassis

Yamaha WR125R

To help you cope with the rigours of the trail, the WR125R uses a pure motocross-inspired steel double cradle chassis. Featuring chunky 41 mm front forks and a Monocross rear end with adjustable shock, it delivers a riding experience that’s both comfortably rigid and totally manoeuvrable.

Ultimate agility

Yamaha WR125R

The dirt is an unforgiving surface. That’s why the WR125R features a 21 inch front wheel and 18 inch rear wheel, designed to be agile enough to slice through gravel and sturdy enough to take hard landings. Dual-purpose tyres ensure exceptional performance on or off the road.

Super-responsive suspension

Yamaha WR125R
