Yamaha YFM700R SE

Whether you're climbing rocky gradients, tackling a muddy bog, or enjoying the freedom of an open trail, you'll get active sporty handling and performance that will leave you with smiles on your faces.
A sports hybrid frame absorbs every knock and bump, but is light enough for slick manoeuvres. Paired with a torque-filled 686cc engine, the result is pure adrenaline from the moment you turn the key. And thanks to that trademark Yamaha reliability, you can head into the wilderness with total confidence.
Exploration and a world of new experiences - that's the promise of Yamaha's leisure range. These ATVs are absolutely perfect for anyone who wants to have an off-road adventure.
Choose from ultra-easy-to-handle entry-level models, or ATVs designed for long-range comfort and ability. As you’ll discover, there's an ATV to suit everyone.
Each model is built around an ultra-reliable 4-stroke engine that combines the optimum package of performance, durability and reliability. But most important of all, it will provide you with worry-free fun and fantastic memories, every time you venture into the outdoors with your friends.
Precision engine design
Yamaha 4-stroke ATV engines are designed to provide high levels of torque at low rpm. The result is increased traction - on all kinds of terrain. To ensure maximum power and economy, the Electronic Fuel Injection system in the YFM700R SE uses an electronic controller to deliver a precisely metered mix of fuel and air into the combustion chamber.
Hybrid chassis engineering
For the kind of strength that withstands every knock and bump, a state-of-the-art chassis combines a steel front section with an aluminium rear section and detachable subframe. A new additional gusset offers extra rigidity, and increased powder coating protects against scratches and chips.
Effortless transmission
The YFM700R SE has a 5-speed gearbox (with reverse). Gear selection lets you smoothly shift between ratios, giving you confidence when riding the YFM700R SE's powerful 686cc engine.
Long-travel adjustable suspension
With long-travel suspension, tyres maintain longer and more consistent ground contact - even on uneven terrain. With independent front suspension, the movement of each front wheel is not affected by the other. This improves handling by allowing the ATV to track bumpy terrain more accurately and remain in a level, controlled posture.
Finely balanced rims and callipers
Lightweight rims and brake callipers contribute to a low unsprung weight. Two-piston front brake callipers ensure great stopping power while the new two-piston rear break callipers design, also already used on our sports YFZ450R, give more breaking power. Both providing the rider with better feedback.
Ergonomic design
Piloting an ATV is a fun, physical activity that uses unusual combinations of muscles. Yamaha ATVs are designed to be straightforward to use, and comfortable for the widest possible range of body shapes and sizes. The front end redesign allows for extra knee clearance for improved body movement, while retaining the aggressive, streamlined YFM700R styling.
