The all new Yamaha MT-07 made its official debut at the EICMA motorcycle show. The new motorcycle is the smaller version of the MT-09 so it shares a many features with its sibling.
In terms of style the Yamaha MT-07 comes with a muscular look a sporty tail, a sculpted fuel tank and seventeen inch wheels.
At the heart of the motorcycle lies a 689 cc, parallel twin, liquid cooled, inline, 2 cylinder, 4 stroke engine which delivers a maximum torque of 68.0 Nm (6.9 kg-m) at 6,500 rpm and 55.0 kW (74.8PS) at 9,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a constant mesh six speed transmission with wet, multiple disc clutch.
The stopping power is assured by front hydraulic dual discs and rear hydraulic single discs.
For the moment, Yamaha didn’t release any prices, but we can expect it to be priced slightly lower than the MT-09 ($7,990) so it will be pretty affordable.
