Fitted with the latest technologies developed by the Japanese manufacturer, the Yamaha MT-09 Rally is a capable motorcycle that can reward you with a thrilling riding experience each time you jump on its back.
The 2014 MT-09 Street Rally comes with a new bodywork, fresh chassis components, and new fuel tank shrouds, side number plates and fork covers. Moreover, the motorcycle also comes with a flatter seat and new graphics.
Power comes from an 847cc, 3-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valves engine which generates 84.6 kw (115ps) at 10,000 rpm and 87.5 Nm (8.9 kg-m) of torque at 8,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a constant mesh six speed transmission and can be optionally linked to an Akrapovič exhaust system.
As far as wheels are concerned, the Yamaha MT-09 Street Rally rides on 17 inch rims shod in 120/70ZR17M/C (58W) front and 180/55ZR17M/C (73W) rear tubeless tires.

The MT-09 Street Rally features exclusive new bodywork and chassis components, making this high-torque 3-cylinder performance bike even more radical.
New fuel tank shrouds, side number plates and fork covers give a more extreme motard image - while the new higher and flatter seat makes for a more poised motard riding position. Finished in Liquid Metal and new graphics, the package is completed with a headlight cover and knuckle guards.
On the street the MT-09 Street Rally is built to thrill with its raw linear torque and outstanding acceleration – and with an agile aluminium frame and high power to weight ratio, this new generation performance bike rewrites the rulebook.
The Akrapovič exhaust system is not supplied as standard and is available as an accessory from an authorised Yamaha dealer.

For a more extreme image the Street Rally is finished in Liquid Metal with bold new graphics, and features an exclusive range of body components- including a headlight cover, fuel tank shrouds, side number plates, fork cover and knuckle guards. New style lightweight 10-spoke alloy wheels with 17-inch radial
Lightweight designs are used throughout and to achieve a low unsprung weight the MT-09 Street Rally is fitted with all-new 10-spoke alloy wheels. These are fitted with newly-developed radial tyres - 120/70ZR17 at the front and 180/55ZR17 at the rear - giving stable and responsive handling.

Wide, tapered handlebars and a long, flat seat give stress-free ergonomics - and the sculpted 14-litre fuel tank with knee recesses ensures a comfortable ’slim-fit’ riding position.
Lightweight CF die-cast aluminium frame
To keep the MT-09 Street Rally as light, slim and compact as possible, Yamaha designers has developed an all-new CF aluminium die-cast frame. Its low weight and excellent rigidity balance contribute towards the bike’s agile handling performance.
Monocross suspension with all asymmetric CF die-cast swingarm
The rear end features a lightweight asymmetric CF die-cast swingarm that gives a low unsprung weight for responsive suspension action and a comfortable ride. An almost horizontal rear shock is situated beneath the seat, and the externally mounted swingarm pivots keep the chassis slim for a compact riding position.
