At this year’s EICMA motorcycle show, Yamaha revealed the 2014 XT1200ZE - a new endure tourer aimed at the modern riders.
The 2014 XT1200ZE Super Ténéré comes with standard electronically-adjustable suspensions, sport and town mappings, cruise control and a 3-stage traction control system.
The motorcycle weighs 265 kg (wet) and is propelled by an 1199cc, forward-inclined parallel 2 cylinder, liquid cooled, 4 stroke, DOHC, 4 valves engine. The unit puts out a maximum power of 82.4 kW (112PS) at 7,250 rpm and 117.0 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. All this power is kept in leash by a six speed transmission with wet multidisc clutch.
Other features that are worthy of being mentioned include a 4-position windscreen, 1 23 litres fuel tank, a height-adjustable seat, new body, heated grips, a top case, center stand and hand protectors.
For the moment Yamaha didn’t released any prices for the new XT1200ZE Super Ténéré.

The 1199cc parallel twin engine is fed from a 23-liter fuel tank and delivers 112 hp @7250 rpm and 117.0 Nm (89 ft-lbs) of torque at 6000 rpm. The shaft drive ensures hassle-free performance while the linked ABS brakes add to the safety rating.
2014 Yamaha XT1200ZE Super Tenere weighs in at 265 kg (585 lbs) full and no MSRP was announced.
