Everybody was eager to see Yamaha’s new 250 cc motorcycle, so the Japanese manufacturer has finally decided to reveal its new model at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show.

The new sport motorcycle is based on the M1 MotoGP and features a sharp design language mixed with the latest technologies developed by the company.

For the moment we don’t have many details about the new motorcycle but we know that is will be propelled by a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, in-line, 2-cylinder, fuel injected engine with a displacement of 249cm3. The unit transfers its power to the rear wheel through a constant mesh 6-speed transmission.

The new motorcycle will compete against the new Honda CBR 300R and Kawasaki Ninja 300 which are both equipped with larger displacement engines (300cc).
Together with the first pictures of its new R25, Yamaha has also released a video footage with the motorcycle in action ridden by Valentino Rossi.

Fast, agile and sleek, the 2014 Yamaha Raptor 700 is a capable sport ATV designed for those who love to mix four wheels with rugged terrains.

To maximize the performances of the Raptor 700, Yamaha’s technicians have equipped it with a lightweight hybrid steel aluminum frame, a Controlled-Fill aluminum sub-frame and a cast aluminum swingarm.

The frame houses a 686 cc, liquid cooled, 4 stroke; SOHC, 4 valves engine which sends its power to the ground by means of a five speed transmission.

The stopping power is handled by twin aluminum-piston front disc brakes and a twin piston rear brake caliper.

The ATV rides on a set of high-performance 21x7-10 front and 20x10-9 rear Maxxis tires which are perfectly capable to deal with any type of terrains without backing down.

The ATV is offered with a base price of $7,699.

At this year’s EICMA motorcycle show, Yamaha revealed the 2014 XT1200ZE - a new endure tourer aimed at the modern riders.

The 2014 XT1200ZE Super Ténéré comes with standard electronically-adjustable suspensions, sport and town mappings, cruise control and a 3-stage traction control system.

The motorcycle weighs 265 kg (wet) and is propelled by an 1199cc, forward-inclined parallel 2 cylinder, liquid cooled, 4 stroke, DOHC, 4 valves engine. The unit puts out a maximum power of 82.4 kW (112PS) at 7,250 rpm and 117.0 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. All this power is kept in leash by a six speed transmission with wet multidisc clutch.

Other features that are worthy of being mentioned include a 4-position windscreen, 1 23 litres fuel tank, a height-adjustable seat, new body, heated grips, a top case, center stand and hand protectors.

For the moment Yamaha didn’t released any prices for the new XT1200ZE Super Ténéré.

The all new Yamaha MT-07 made its official debut at the EICMA motorcycle show. The new motorcycle is the smaller version of the MT-09 so it shares a many features with its sibling.

In terms of style the Yamaha MT-07 comes with a muscular look a sporty tail, a sculpted fuel tank and seventeen inch wheels.

At the heart of the motorcycle lies a 689 cc, parallel twin, liquid cooled, inline, 2 cylinder, 4 stroke engine which delivers a maximum torque of 68.0 Nm (6.9 kg-m) at 6,500 rpm and 55.0 kW (74.8PS) at 9,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a constant mesh six speed transmission with wet, multiple disc clutch.

The stopping power is assured by front hydraulic dual discs and rear hydraulic single discs.

For the moment, Yamaha didn’t release any prices, but we can expect it to be priced slightly lower than the MT-09 ($7,990) so it will be pretty affordable.

The 2014 Yamaha TT-R230 is a pretty impressive machinery that was carefully forged to be able to deal with any type of terrain with poise.

As far as power is concerned, the motorcycle is propelled by a 223 cc, air cooled, SOHC, 4 stroke, 2 valves engine which is kept under control by a constant mesh 6 speed transmission with multiplate wet clutch.

To be able to tackle any terrain without problems the 2014 Yamaha TT-R230 received a steel frame, a linkage-mounted adjustable rear shock and 36mm front forks.

The bike’s speed is kept in check by a front 220mm disc and a 130mm rear drum brake. You also get full-size 21 inch front and 18 inch rear aluminum wheels wrapped in 80/100-21 NHS and 100/100-18 NHS tires, respectively.

The 2014 Yamaha TT-R230 is offered with a base price of $3,990.

The Yamaha TT-R125 LE comes with a comprehensive list of features which make it perfectly suited for learning the secrets of off road riding.

It is propelled by a 125cc, air-coled, SOHC, 4-Stroke; 2 valves engine which breaths through a Mikuni VM20 carburetor. The unit is fed by a 1.6 gallons fuel tank and is mated to a constant-mesh 5-speed transmission with multiplate wet clutch.

You also get a push button electric starter, an alumunium swingarm and 220mm front disc brakes.

The motorcycle weighs only 159 lb and is propelled by a 110cc, air-cooled, SOHC, four-stroke engine which was especially develop to reward you with a strong low end torque for first class off road performances. The engine’s power is transferred to the rear wheel through a constant-mesh 4-speed transmission.

To be able to deal with difficult terrains without backing down, the Yamaha TT-R110E needed a set of adjustable suspensions. Therefore it comes with a front 31 mm telescopic fork (4.5-in travel) and a rear swingarm (4.3-in travel).

The Yamaha WR450F is a reliable off roader that was creates for those who love adventures on two wheels.

The motorcycle is built on an advanced alumunium frame that houses a 449cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC four-stroke engine with five titanium valves. The engine breaths through a lightweight exhaust system and is mated to a wide-ratio five-speed transmission with a YZ450F-spec multiplate clutch.

The ride quality is assured by a fully adjustable YZ-based KYB air/oil-separate, 48mm cartridge-type fork and a rear KYB shock that can be adjusted for high- and low-speed compression damping, rebound and spring preload.

The stopping power is handled by wave-style brake discs that feature front and rear calipers with aluminum pistons.

The 2014 Yamaha YZ85 is a compact off road machine that was carefully developed to represent the perfect learning platform for beginners.

The motorcycle is propelled by a light, liquid-cooled, 85cc, crankcase reed-valve-inducted engine which is linked to a six-speed transmission. The engine is housed by an ultra-rigid, single-backbone, semi-double-cradle frame that delivers a perfect mix between lightness and rigidity.

To be able to tackle the tough terrains without baking down, the motorcycle needed a set of capable suspensions. Therefore, the 2014 Yamaha YZ85 is equipped with fully adjustable suspensions that allow a wide range of adjustments according to the terrain and the rider’s skills.

It is also worthy of being mentioned that the motorcycle rides on lightweight 17-inch front and 14-inch rear rims which are shod in Dunlop knobby tires. The wheels are combined with 220mm front disc and 190mm rear disc brakes that come with stainless steel rotors.

Meet, the 2014 Yamaha YZF450R SE. The 2014 model year continues to be at least as desirable as its predecessors and comes with a series of important modifications which help it deliver better performances.

Power comes from the old 449 cc, liquid cooled, 4 stroke, DOHC titanium 5 Valve engine. However, the unit has been slightly tweaked for 2014 to deliver more power and to increase the mid-range performance.

Other changes include a lighter clutch, a fresh suspensions system with new front and rear shocks, new Maxxis tires and a redesigned body.

The stopping power s handled by dual ventilated hydraulic discs with twin pistons up front, and wave-style ventilated hydraulic discs with twin pistons out back.

The 2014 Yamaha YFZ450R SE is offered with a starting price of $ 8,999 and is available in showrooms since august 2013.
