Rage of the Machine: Hemi-powered trike is a beast on (three) wheels

What in the world, right? It’s supposed to be a tricycle of sorts, only that it’s got a Hemi for an engine, it can do sick burnouts, and it comes in a gargantuan design that defies any form of coherent descriptions. And while we’re at a loss as to how to come up with adjectives to describe this monstrosity, it’s owner, Tim Cotterill - he calls his baby the ’Rocket II’, for obvious reasons - is just all too happy to take this bad boy out for a ride. At this point, whatever word that comes out of our mouths is pretty much irrelevant by now because there’s really no describing this piece of work. So, we’ll just let the video do the talking for us. Watch and enjoy!

Video: Behind the scenes with Marisa Miller and Harley Davidson

We’re not here to do or say anything perverse, but the fact that one of the sexiest and most beautiful women on the planet is doing an ad campaign with Harley Davidson makes it a little harder for us to control the urge to salivate at our keyboards.

That being said, we’re going to resist the urge and adhere to a little self-control. So Harley Davidson, as if they needed any more promotion and marketing, went out and got one of the most gorgeous pieces of eye candy in the world to promote "Start Something", a series that pretty much invites everybody to ride a motorcycle by debunking all those reasons people might have in opting for safer modes of transportation. While we’re already safely on Harley’s side of the fence, there are still people - especially men - that have erred on the side of caution when it comes to riding motorcycles. To those men, Harley Davidson would like you to meet Marisa Miller. And if this drop-dead vixen can’t get you to ride a motorcycle within a week’s time, chances are, you won’t ever do it.

Check out the behind-the-scenes footage of how the shoot came to be. Word of warning, though. We’re not claiming responsibility if your computer decides to overheat due to the video’s steaminess.

Moto2 oil spill causes massive sliding in the middle of the race

Oil is slippery; that much we know. And while its pretty dangerous to be riding motorcycles on a patch of road that’s been spilled with oil, the danger becomes much more magnified when you’re in a pretty intense motorcycle race, as was the case during a recent Moto2 race at Jerez.

The incident started when two racers - Shoya Tomizawa and Simone Corsi - got tangled up with both riders losing control of their motorcycles, which spilled a pretty significant amount of crankcase oil onto the track. The resulting spill caused a number of riders behind the two to ride straight into the patch of oil where, naturally, they all ended up sliding helplessly as well.

If there was any good that came out of this domino-like slip and slide, it’s that everybody came out of it relatively unscathed with the Moto2 marshalls also doing the prudent thing by red-flagging the entire race, which, incidentally, still had 25 laps to go.

Check out the video of the incident courtesy of the Daily Motion.

Video: The most unusual wake you’ll ever come across

If history has taught us anything, it’s that anything is possible, even if your time here on this planet is up.

You’ve probably heard of this piece of news by now and for what it’s worth, it’s still a little too hard to believe. If you haven’t heard of it, then please, by all means, keep on reading.

David Morales Colon, a 22-year old Puerto Rican, was gunned down last week and, while we feel bad for the family he left behind, we can’t help but be amazed on how Colon’s family decided to send-off their beloved David.

Go to the funeral service for David and you’re bound to get the shock of your life. Not only is there no casket, or urn for that matter, but as soon as you walk in the funeral home, you’ll be greeted by the sight of David himself dressed in a long-sleeved shirt, jeans, a hat, and a pair of sunglasses. And, oh yeah, he’s riding a Honda CBR600 F4. The only thing is, David’s actually dead.

If you think that is a little strange then you are absolutely right, but apparently the motorcycle was a gift to David from his uncle and his family delivered it personally to the funeral home.

Incidentally, the funeral home where David is "riding" is also the same funeral home that prepared Ángel Luis "Pedrito" Pantojas Medina, a man that was shot 11 times. This man made a very special request before passing; he requested that his wake be held in his own home while wearing his favorite clothes. That is not the strange part. He also wanted to attend the wake standing up. This feat was accomplished b ythe funeral home employees by tying the corpse at the waist, torso, and head. Eerie.

Anyway, check out the video of David after the jump.
