This funny video made in the Animal Planet style analyzes bikers as a species which hibernates during winter time. Of course, there are exceptions and these make the game of riding even more interesting. Watch it and see what happens when spring arrives. Makes you want to be able to ride year-round.
This video doesn’t look bad at all for a 25-year-old commercial. It’s for the Honda Shadow 1100, but the style is definitely Harley-Davidson. The accent is put on the cruiser’s timeless look and inviting sound, while in what the rider is concerned, sex-appeal marks the spot. The video is actually called “Tell him you have plans,” on youtube but I won’t ruin the surprise for you, so check it out.
Looks to me like this one is much better than most bike commercial nowadays.
Indiana’s Criminal Justice Institute has started a motorcycle safety campaign called Ride Safe Indiana, which for now consists in a couple of videos showing 2006 MotoGP World Champion Nicky Hayden advising bikers to go easy on the throttle and always wear their gear. Both videos are also based on the power of example, meaning you’ll see some of Hayden’s most serious crashes. Follow the jump to see the videos.
Fevzi lives in Gaziantep, Turkey and to most people he was just a regular guy until a motorcycle dealer got on tape his unusual talent. Definitely our favorite Turk, Fevzi can imitate motorcycle/car sounds like we’ve never heard before. Any sound starting from that of Suzuki and Yamaha literbikes, continuing with the unmistakable sound of a two-stroke Yamaha 115cc bike and even with that of a massive tractor engine, simply comes natural to now Turkish television’s favorite showman. Tune up your speakers and prepare yourself for a healthy laugh session.
Chris Vermeulen, who has recently underwent keyhole surgery has just started walking again and he’s already riding his trial bike in an attempt to recover his knee faster for the Assen race. Meanwhile, he’ll skip this weekend’s WSBK round in Valencia, so the video is more of a way to keep fans posted about his evolution.
Australian freestyle motocross celebrity Robbie “Maddo” Maddison has just established a new world record after bringing his Honda 500 dirt bike up to 77 mph and successfully jumping over the Corinth Canal, which has a width of 279 feet. The 28-year-old rider traversed at 300 feet above the channel surface and his biggest obstacle was, obviously, fear. Hit the jump for the video and full press release.

Usually, when stunts go wrong someone gets seriously hurt, but when water is involved, the natural element sometimes forgives stunt men (women in this case) from the usual ride to the hospital. Take a look at this video showing stunt woman Maria Kelly trying to ride her jet ski off a waterfall and see what happens.
Watch this guy and learn from his mistakes. He’s trying to jump his two-stroke supermoto using a BMX ramp, but neglects the fact that BMX ramps are for…well, BMX bikes. He approaches fast, just like a real daredevil, and achieves what’s probably the funniest faceplant on the internet.
