Shortly after presented the standard F800GS, BMW has introduced an Adventure version of its tough motorcycle. The new model is basically an extreme version of the F800GS and follows the footsteps of the R1200GS Adventure.
Compared to the standard model the Adventure version comes with a set of unique features that make it significantly tougher.
Among them you’ll find a new 24-litre fuel tank that extends your range with up to 75 miles. ABS is offered as standard equipment, as well as a reinforced rear subframe and a new bench seat. Among the comfort amenities you’ll find wider enduro-style footrests, a bigger windscreen and an adjustable, reinforced foot brake lever.
The options list includes traction control and Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA).
The motorcycle is powered by a water-cooled, 4-stroke, in-line, two-cylinder engine with four valves per cylinder, two overhead camshafts and dry sump lubrication.
