Pics aplenty: Denise Milani on quad

Simply take a look at the picture gallery that we’ve came across while preparing to hit the sand dunes this weekend. Denise Milani is a Czech Republic native and a famous supermodel who has kept secret her “passion” for quads and sand dune riding for quite some time now.

To be totally honest, we have serious doubts that she even knows how to start the thing, but posing is a passion too, isn’t it? Check out the big bust picture gallery after the break.

137 HP mini quad!

There’s really no point in mounting a 137 HP, 1100cc motor on a mini quad, but we’re not trying to find a justification for the idea of these people because, quite frankly, there is none. We’re just trying to show what amazing things you can do with a spare motor, a mini quad chassis and go cart wheels. This transforms your regular boring four-wheeler into an uncontrollable blast that, despite the street rubber, is still perfectly able to spread some dust.

Lazareth Wazuma quad – pricing announced

lazareth wazuma quad pricing announced picture

Lazareth’s four-wheeled blast that is ridden like a motorcycle and is best known as the amazing quad of Batman junior, the Wazuma, has a mind-blowing price of 198,900 euro (around $284,300).

There’s nothing quite like it on the market, so we’ll have to wait and see how many wealthy people are willing to pay that much on a 500 hp machine that features no safety system, such as ABS or traction control.

Lazareth Wazuma quad gets BMW V12 engine and BIO fuel

In the attempt to make it possible for vehicles to benefit of more power (sometimes in huge quantities) motorbike/trike makers end up adding an extra wheel, for more stability. But how do you call something that has four wheels, a 500 bhp BMW V12 engine that runs on bio-ethanol, and yet is rode like a veritable motorcycle?

Apparently, we will have to settle with talking about the Lazareth Wazuma as being a quad with French origins and an absolutely mind-blowing $284,000 price tag.

After the jump, see a beautiful video courtesy of MotoRevue.

Zero X – the ideal hunting motorcycle

What we’re seeing here is a totally camouflaged Zero X motorcycle being ridden to hunting. The off-road model is brought back in the public eye after the launch of the Zero S, an electric urban commuter.

The reasons why the bike in this video is great for hunting and for nature lovers in general are more than obvious: it doesn’t pollute and doesn’t make any engine noise whatsoever so a skilled rider and hunter shouldn’t scare all the dears away.

See action footage after the jump.

ATV stunt goes as wrong as possible

This is apparently a world record attempt, one that definitely didn’t end up in the Guinness World Records. The ATV rider attempts to jump his ride over a padel boat, but touches the very top of it with the ATV’s front end, resulting into a disastrous crash.

3Z Scale Bulldog R/C Rider transforms into Quad

Multifunctional products might be exactly what the kid in each one of us looks for when buying either an R/C car or a quad. The best of 3Z Scale’s Buldog R/C rider is that it combines fun with practicability in a way that we haven’t yet had the honor to see before. This remote controlled vehicle features a stadium truck body, but underneath which an 110cc four-stroke engine, automatic transmission, disc brakes, independent suspensions and aluminum wheels package is ready to keep things interesting with and especially without the rider on it.

The big size R/C can be piloted using a 2.4 GHz radio transmitter, but also as a fun all terrain vehicle. The handlebars are there simply because the Buldog can’t be remote controlled with the rider actually on it, but that’s what makes things interesting from our point of view. Being 4’2” long and weighing almost 200 pounds, this thing can provide a veritable off-road ride, but you better check it out for yourselves in the video attached after the jump.

Honda CBR600RR Quad by WesllCorp

WesllCorp have come up with a four wheel kit for motorcycles in an attempt to improve performance and implicit lap times without cutting in the pleasure that only two wheels can offer. They call it Wesll Suspension and it can be mounted both on street and off-road motorcycles. And not just any motorcycles. We’re talking about models such as the Honda CBR600RR (our favorite), Suzuki GSX-R1000 and Kawasaki ZX-10R, just to mention a few.

Featuring a maximum of 28 inches of travel, the unusual kit will transform any motorcycle into a quad. The four tires offer better grip which results into the ability to brake later before a corner and accelerate faster out of it.

Here’s a short demonstration video of the system mounted on a CBR600RR motorcycle.

Photo of the day: Did you forget to tighten the nuts?

Next time when you’re out for a day on the quad make sure that you won’t be the next protagonist of such a photo. I wonder how you must feel knowing that tightening the nuts isn’t even your duty and if it is, then even worst! Get a grip!
