After his trip to the Bran Castle in Transilvania, Romania, trialist Julien Dupont took off to Israel for a tour of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The Red Bull film crew was there to catch it all on tape, so watch the video to see the French rider in action and listen to his story about trial.
In one of Orkin’s (company producing an anti-cockroach poison) latest commercial for hot tubs, they show a monster bug going in “for a piece of the action” and then making a run for it…on a motorcycle. This is actually a funny commercial if you don’t come to think this is actually how people around us see motorcyclists.
These guys were out on the twisties having the time of their lives and filming themselves while on it when everything ALMOST came to a tragic end when a BMW rider passing a van during a turn suddenly appeared in front of them. But luckily, the surprised rider manages to countersteer his bike immediately and avoid a head on collision by going off the road. He lives to ride another day and have this post on youtube.
As you all know, the world has heard hundreds of legends about Count Dracula and vampires, but they all have something in common – the Bran Castle in Transylvania. Famous trial rider Julien Dupont went to the Bran Castle not only to see if these legends are true, but also to ride his bike in the castle’s yard.
Even though the legends about Dracula have been circulating for around 500 years, this character remains alive not only for tourists, but also for writers who see it perfect for a new book or a new movie scenario.
Julien has heard numerous legends circulating around the Bran Castle, but only one caught the most of his attention. It seems that not far from the castle there is a cross which turns those who touch it into fearless persons. Just what Julien needed in order to pull out the most amazing tricks.
So Julien Dupont searched the respective cross on the hill near the castle, touched it and the legend turned out to be true – Julien became fearless and went crazy around Bran Castle.
But, a mystery remains…will Julien eventually turn into a vampire or not? Find out the answer by watching the video after the jump.

This is the promo for the 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed and it shows trial master Dougie Lampkin in his two-wheeled search for Formula One stars Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button around the Goodwood estate. Also taking part at the rather funny action are bike fan Chris Barrie and chef James Martin. The happy ending is well worth it.
While it may be hard to believe that someone can lift the front end of a fully loaded BMW R1200GS and keep the bike steady for enough distance to call the achievement a wheelie, this video simply blows away all expectations.
It shows a very skilled rider performing a 3km wheelie during the 2.26 minutes video on the Beemer in South Africa. Looking at it, you’re not too far off if suspecting this guy can go like this forever and ever as long as there’s no traffic and the road is nice and straight.
It is things like this that spice up one’s journeys and we really like to see people taking bikes beyond what they thing the limits are.
This is one of those motorcycle videos in which you can imagine from the start that someone will end up very bad, but despite all the odds, it seems this guy actually knows what he’s doing. The video is from a motorcycle club in India. It seems the bikers were out for a ride and some of them simply couldn’t abstain themselves from…dragging their feet on the road at least a few hundred feet. Looks crazy to me, but that guy looks like he knows what he’s doing.
Bikers are known to be heavy drinking people, it’s in their blood, just like riding is, but we never heard of anyone combining the two passions except the times it lead to crashes. In this case though, we’re surprised to see a couple riding and pulling a barrel of whisky along for the ride.
We can’t help but wonder if the liquor made it to the destination or what the police would have said in the unhappy event of pulling them along the side of the road.
At a first glance, this looks like an amateur video made by a bunch of guys trying to have some fun with their ride on a frozen lake somewhere in Spain, but as the guy riding finds himself submerged in icy waters, you’ll find that this is actually the result of a strictly planned scenario. We just cannot understand how they did it.
