The new Benelli X 125 and 150 scooters draw inspiration from Benelli’s sport bikes that managed to earn a pretty good reputation in the world of motorcycle racing. Both models received a modern design language which inspires dynamism and sportiness. The sporty design of the scooters is underlined by aggressive lines of the front fairing that protrudes out onto the front tyre. We also like the aggressive-looking tunnel and the sporty fuel tank.

Benelli’s engineers have spent a lot of time to develop a perfect riding position. Thereby, the handlebars and seats were carefully designed to offer a comfortable position.

The scooters sit on 12 inch aluminium alloy rims shod in 120/70 – 12 tyres. The wheels are combined with a pretty capable suspension which consists of a front hydraulic telescopic fork and a rear double hydraulic dumper.

The Benelli Pepe 50 4T / 2T is a pretty unique looking scooter powered by a reliable 4 stroke single cylinder engine.

Its sporty design is underlined by the aerodynamic shield which comes with a headlight set into the centre, an unconventional central section and clear-cut around the tail. You also get a comfortable seat, generous footrests, 16 inch wheels and chromed rear view mirrors.

The Benelli Caffenero was created for those who search for an efficient and fast way of moving around the city streets. The Caffenero has the same size as a medium powered scooter, hence it’s pretty comfortable and safe. You also get a long saddle which offers plenty of space for two adults. The 2013 Benelli Zenzero 350 is a decent choice for those who are searching for a medium sized scooter that’s able to deal well with both long journeys and urban traffic.

The Zenzero was designed with efficiency in mind and is powered by a compact single-cylinder, liquid cooled engine equipped with electronic injection. The engine has a 313 cc displacement and delivers 15,4 kW (21 Cv) @ 7000 rpm and 23,7 Nm (2,4 kgm) of torque @ 6000 rpm.

Mahindra launched its first scooter on the Indian market. The new scooter has a pretty modern design which is enhanced by a set of sporty bodygraphics that decorate the side and front cowling.

Apart from its catchy design cues, the Mahindra SYM Flyte is also packed with a series of useful features such as front fuelling, body colored impact resistant mirrors, telescopic front suspension, strong grab rails, 4-In-1 anti theft key and a very generous under - seat storage place.

The SYM Flyte is powered by a 125 cc, 4 stroke, engine that delivers a maximum output of 8 hp @ 7000 rpm and 9 Nm at 5500 rpm, enough to ensure a maximum speed of 80 kmph. The Indian manufacturer Mahindra revealed a new scooter that bears the name DZ. The scooter is powered by a 125 cc engine which delivers a maximum power of 6 kw at 7000 rpm and 9 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. The Mahindra Duro DZ’s engine was specially tweaked to be as efficient as possible and features an Advanced Dual Curve Digital Ignition which gives it the capacity to auto-adjusts according to the load. Moreover, you also get an extra large 6.5 litre fuel tank, which offers a generous range.

Marcus Walz decided to modify the Yamaha T-Max scooter and we’ll have to admit that the result is quite impressive. Marcus Walz is known for its hardcore cruisers and custom bikes, being one of the best known names in the business.

Taking about its new creation, Marcus Walz said: “With the Hyper Modified TMAX I have tried to keep the bike very clear and recognizable as a TMAX, I didn’t want to create a spaceship out of it. I concentrated on keeping the stock lines and optimising every detail while reducing the bike’s weight. I have also modified the handlebar area of the bike to give it a radical naked bike image and mounted the mirrors on the end of the bars to give it the impression of a café racer when in town.”

The scooter continues to be powered by the same forward-inclined parallel 2-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, 530 cc engine that cranks out 34.2 kW @ 6,750 rpm and 52.3 Nm of torque at 5,250 rpm.

Aprilia has released the first details about its new sport scooter named the SR 50 R - Replica SBK. The scooter features an aggressive design which draws inspiration from the sporty Aprilia RSV 1000 R Factory. Apart from its dynamic style, the bike also comes with a series of modern equipments designed to improve its on road performance. On the equipments list you’ll a multi-functional digital instruments panel, twin halogen headlights, motorcycle-style switchgear and anti-theft system.

Aprilia revealed its new SR Max grand touring scooter which is available in 125 cc and 300 cc versions. The new scooter draws inspiration from the racing world featuring a sporty design and a set of sharp headlights. The dynamic style of the scooter is enhanced by the sleek and sharp tail fairing and the two colour saddle.

Both SR Max versions come with front hydraulic shock absorbers with 35mm traditional telescopic forks combined with rear 3 position adjustable spring preload shock absorbers.

The single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4 valve 125 version, is equipped with electronic injection, and delivers a maximum output of 15 HP at 9,250 rpm. On the other hand, the stronger model comes with a 300 cc single cylinder 4 valve liquid cooled electronic injected engine with a 75 mm bore and 63 mm stroke. Its maximum torque is rated at 23 Nm @ 6000 rpm.
