Robbie Maddison has been very active while we’ve been away for 2009’s eve. Red Bull’s daredevil jumped over 100 feet onto the Arc the Triomphe at Paris Las Vegas and then ramped off the construction replica while all was being broadcasted life on TV.
So, what have you been doing in the last day of 2008?
We all know how hard it is for people to buy the right present…I mean for Santa to create and transport the right present for each person individually, but if it still travels, at least to do it in style. This one sure knows what that means although he lost his beard in the process.
A Santa that rides like that won’t deliver anything but aftermarket exhaust and a whole bunch of accessories for our bikes. Perfect!
Watch out, biker flying! Now this is a stunt that goes absolutely perfect and yet the bike is wrecked and the rider rolls down the ground. How is that possible? Perfect timing and understanding of the laws of physics in the hard way is the key.
Notice how the rider separates from the bike just before it hits the car and how it crouches its way to the mattress. That, together with the exact 60mph speed is the only thing that’s known…the rest is equipment and a lot of training.
I can’t believe the guy actually know on which side are the spectators that got a closer eye on his stunt.
Clint Ewing has successfully attempted a Guinness World Record earlier this year by riding a distance of 200 ft. (60.96 m) through a tunnel of fire at Universal City, Los Angeles, USA. NBC TV was there to get the attempt on tape so that’s how we’re sharing the video with you.
Looks like Disney Paris is going through their stunt men and women like little croissants. The Disney park in Paris is looking for a motorcycle stunt man or woman to play in the Action show "Moteurs... Action ! Stunt Show Spectacular" in their Movies Theme park.
Having seen the show a couple of times, it’s impressive, and you’re going to have to really be able to really control your motorcycle if you plan to play with The Mouse. It’s not a couple of wheelies and stoppies. Have a look at the video below, and you can see why.
They’re looking for someone who has real experience with motorcycles, but also with cars. The role is very physical, so you need to be in shape, and need to be able to respect the strict security rules. They are also looking for that someone to have an artist sole and team spirit. Remember, it’s entertainment!
If you’re interested, and you’re between 18 and 35 years old, you can apply on-line. Disney can provide you with accommodation. It will help if you speak French, but it’s not a must.

Do these guys follow up Roxette’s lines word by word? Was it the time to take a ride on that freeway in the sky? Well, I don’t know for sure, but I what I do know is that you don’t see this happening any more.
No more than approximately two decades ago, this would have been the picture on every circus placard and entire circus families would have been performing through the public’s craze.
The bikes were standard models of the time and the only modifications that they received were the tireless wheels and stiffed up suspensions. That was because when the rider didn’t carried any “passengers” underneath him, it could actually pop up wheelies and stuff.
Have you ever tried to find an answer to why people line up to that?
For starters, by the looks on their faces, I believe they were forced from various reasons or they are only by the time of the jump realizing that the ramp is too small for that kind stunt. In this last case, they’re simply stupid.
Imagine what happens next because I don’t want to. Ouch!
Keeping the news section in the Knievel register, we are happy to announce that Christian Audigier made today public its intention of launching a new clothing line that is closely inspired by the costumes worn by Evel Knievel through its long and famous daredevil career. And which better place to launch the new clothing line than at the Caesar’s Palace Hotel, in Las Vegas? The event will be part of the “When I Move You Move” show on August 25, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. Composed from T-shirts and (...) More
Present at a Wisconsin casino on August 16th 2008, Robbie did what a Knievel knows doing best: jumping over stuff. In this case, over four airplanes and a helicopter, but it was enough for the public to go nuts.
Notice that the asphalt was wet, either from rain or to prevent things from catching up fire, so the jump was pretty risky even though it didn’t covered that much distance. We heard the landing was ok too!
