Two iconic names in motorcycle racing, MV Agusta and Carl Fogarty, are to join forces for an assault on the Superbike World Championship.
The Italian manufacturer is set to enter the championship in the 2008 season with Fogarty’s British based team as their factory supported outfit.

Troy Bayliss and Lorenzo Lanzi were both among the front-runners in the two-day Pirelli test session at the Valencia circuit in Spain on Tuesday and Wednesday of last week. It was the first outing for the two reconfirmed riders in the Ducati Xerox Team in view of next year’s championship.

Hannspree BV, a manufacturer of LCD monitors, has replaced Winston as the main sponsor of the Ten Kate Honda World Superbike and World Supersport teams, Honda Motor Europe announced today.
The German company will also sponsor Team Honda Martin Racing in the World Motocross Championship M1 and MX2 classes.

Max makes an early impression
Max Biaggi (Alstare Suzuki Corona Extra) made an impressive first impact on his SBK peers, after setting the fastest time during the first off season Pirelli Development tests.
