World Superbike: Race tyres – Qualifyers

A two-day test for the SBK Pirelli development teams at Valencia in Spain was kicked off in bright and sunny conditions, with James Toseland (Ten Kate Honda) posting the fastest time of the day. He made in excess of 50 laps, and his best time was faster than that set in race conditions in the 2006 Superbike race, and even faster than Superpole. American Honda Motor Co. Inc. and Cycle Motion Experience LLC, operating entity for Corona Extra Racing, have signed a multi-year agreement to support Corona Extra Racing in the AMA Superbike Championship. "999" takes ride on F-16

The Italian Air Force celebrated the Ducati 999’s success in World Superbike by painting an F-16 Hornet’s drop cell "Ducati red" and marking it with the 999 logo. The red external fuel tank created an impressive contrast against the all-silver aircraft.
