Stafford Springs, Connecticut speedway was the hosting venue for round six of the AMA Supermoto series. The layout of the track was fast with a nice dirt section, which was built out of sand.
Both team riders set great qualifying times for gate positions with Darryl Atkins 2nd place to KTM rider Kurt Nicol with a very small difference of .007. Ben was .700 behind Atkins. Yamaha riders Mark Burkhart, Grant Langston and Nate Adams took home an impressive cache of medals at the X Games 13 in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, August 4. Burkhart claimed the prestigious gold in the Super Moto competition aboard his Graves Motorsports YZ450F, while Nate Adams earned silver in Moto X Freestyle aboard his YZ250 and Grant Langston likewise took silver in the inaugural Moto X race on his brand new factory 2008 YZ450F.

Team Husqvarna Racing’s Australian 2006 Supermoto Champion Troy Herfoss headed off to New Caledonia to contest the 3rd Supermoto of Noumea.
