Ama Supermoto Championship Round 5, Stafford Springs

Stafford Springs, Connecticut speedway was the hosting venue for round six of the AMA Supermoto series. The layout of the track was fast with a nice dirt section, which was built out of sand. Both team riders set great qualifying times for gate positions with Darryl Atkins 2nd place to KTM rider Kurt Nicol with a very small difference of .007. Ben was .700 behind Atkins. Kenan Sofuoglu (Hannspree Ten Kate Honda CBR600RR) finished second in the Brands Hatch Supersport race and in doing so he scored his first and Honda’s sixth Riders’ Championship.
