2010 Suzuki Boulevard C50/C50SE/C50T
In 2010, Suzuki carries on producing their big boy models without any changes apart from the ones involving color schemes and the C50 series is no exception from the rule. Suzuki is set to write long history pages with the help of two Boulevard models that have been launched a couple of years ago, but only now achieve the notoriety they truly deserve. Meanwhile, the C109R and C109RT have carried on as 2010 model years, but remain the same massive bikes with great road performance and will most likely change only color schemes in the future as they do now. Suzuki has accorded a lot of attention to performance cruisers in these last few years and so have been introduced models such as the entry-level M50 and their ultimate demonstration of power, the M109R. Suzuki is out for 2010 with the head of their cruiser lineup, the Boulevard M109R and, of course, the stylistically tweaked Limited Edition model with which riders already got used to. The first things that strike you are the all new headlight cowl and redesigned seat, but it is more about the 2010 Suzuki Boulevard M50 than what meets the eye. Tokyo 2009: Suzuki presents three world premieres
Suzuki released BURGMAN FUEL CELL SCOOTER, GLADIUS400 ABS and BOULEVARD400 as its world premieres at the 41st Tokyo Motor Show 2009 on October 21. The fuel cell of BURGMAN FUEL CELL SCOOTER is air-cooled and concomitantly light, compact, and structurally simple. A 70MPa hydrogen tank (the highest-pressure tank used on a bike thus far) allows a usable riding range. And the tank is mounted within a robust frame for safety. The Gladius 400 ABS is a stylish naked bike with a 400cm3 V-twin engine. It features a truss frame that combines rigidity with great looks. And its newly designed V-twin engine delivers plenty of power in a rider-friendly way. The Boulevard 400 is a performance cruiser with aggressive bikini-cowled looks and a 400cm3 engine. Low, flowing body lines that give an unmistakable sense of performance are combined with inverted front forks and stylish cast wheels. While the Boulevard S83 doesn’t carry on as a 2009 model year, Suzuki is keen on their smaller model, the Boulevard S50 which proved very successful during its decades-long life and shows no signs of weakness despite the fact that the Japanese manufacturer doesn’t work its magic on it for 2009. Fuel injection isn’t considered necessary so all there is new to enjoy at the Suzuki Boulevard S50 is a color scheme. Full story
2009 Suzuki Boulevard C90/C90T
Classic cruisers are less likely to go out of fashion and implicit out of production as long as there are enough guys that prefer classic jeans, leather jackets and helmets instead of leather interiors and fancy onboard computers. That’s what Suzuki reckons and some of the best proofs of this fact are the 2009 Boulevard C90 and C90T models which keep on going in the style that consecrated the VL 1500 Intruder more than a decade ago. 2009 Suzuki Boulevard M50/Special Edition
When it comes to cruisers, most of us still imagine towering, apparently hard to maneuver motorcycles that are most likely powered by big V-Twins. So how does the power cruiser concept apply to an 805cc motorcycle that weighs 584 lbs?
