The 2011 Yamaha TW200 ’s reputation as a fantastic all-purpose ride is greatly highlighted by the fact that anybody can have a good time with it on just about every imaginable surface. It certainly doesn’t matter if you’re a newbie or a vet; the TW200 takes care of everybody without bias or prejudice.

One of the more important characteristics of the bike are the big fat tires that deliver great traction and rider comfort over a wide range of terrain. A compact chassis and a low seat configuration also helps in making the bike one of the most user-friendly two-wheeled vehicles in the market.

Quite simply, it’s the embodiment of comfort and versatility, a throwback to a time where both elements were absolute necessities. The bike certainly helps make a case for itself by offering plenty of features that riders want to have in their bikes without compromising the extensive work and laborious detail that comes with building a bike that makes a name for itself in terms of overall versatility.

As avid lovers of motorcycles, we have great expectations when it comes to our bike’s performance and design. We aim for a two-wheeled vehicle that can perform at its best, have outstanding features, and a mesmerizing appearance. This year, BMW Motorrad surprised the local market by launching their newest sportbike, the BMW R1200 GS. The R1200 GS is a versatile motorbike that can be treated as a touring-oriented naked motorcycle or a classic sport bike. The term ’GS’, as defined by BMW Motorrad, is an output of their bikes’ high-quality performance. According to Motorrad, The ’GS’ is not just able to handle everything, it is actually built to do so; it’s the result of independent tests worldwide. Their GS series of R1200 is a combination of easy handling, great touring features, off-road potential, and comfort for rider and pillion passenger.

Among Harley’s nine all new 2010 models, we find the Road Glide Custom a much more aggressive approach towards the shark-nose Harley-Davidson classic style. Not only the bike is now lowered, but it also features a big 18-inch front wheel, a 2-into-1 exhaust, and a smooth tail light assembly for a bike that is worthy of the word ‘custom’ in its name.

While the chassis is based on a single-spar, rigid backbone frame and a stout swingarm developed to withstand the demands of long-haul touring riders and today’s more-powerful engines, we’re happy to hear that the 96ci V-Twin behind this model is capable of 125.55 Nm at 3500 rpm, which makes the Road Glide Custom even more of a temptation.

For 2010, Harley-Davidson took the Electra Glide and gave it a shot of steroids. The end result is even more performance and much greater touring looks. Now powered by a Twin Cam 103ci engine, which is 10 percent torqueier than the Twin Cam 96 engine, the all new Electra Glide Ultra Limited had to feature a new chassis that would withstand the new demands involved. The single-spar, rigid backbone frame and a stout swingarm sound like just the right components to start with.

In 2010, Suzuki carries on producing their big boy models without any changes apart from the ones involving color schemes and the C50 series is no exception from the rule. Not heavily refined, but enough to make a difference are the base model, the C50T and the Special Edition one, all with something special to offer.

Suzuki is set to write long history pages with the help of two Boulevard models that have been launched a couple of years ago, but only now achieve the notoriety they truly deserve. Meanwhile, the C109R and C109RT have carried on as 2010 model years, but remain the same massive bikes with great road performance and will most likely change only color schemes in the future as they do now. A little more special, the new Touring model gets white wall tires and passenger floorboards to mark the pass.

It might seem that the 2010 Honda VFR1200F has come to reinvent the supersport touring segment, but manufacturers such as Yamaha have their own classic approach towards offering a motorcycle that is fast, comfortable and built to last, the 2010 FJR1300A. Those of you who are familiar with the name will say that the FJR1300AE is an even better choice thanks to Yamaha’s electric-shift five-speed transmission, which eliminates the clutch and offers riders effortless electric shifting, but Yamaha has discontinued this model for 2010 and leaves FJR riders completely in charge over the bike’s functions.

Having gained popularity and selling pretty well in Europe for years, Honda’s mid-sized V-Twin is claimed to be a versatile, user-friendly and fuel efficient motorcycle that allows riders to use it both to commute and live adventures on depending on what day of the week it is.

Check this out! A track riding instructor took his Honda Goldwing for a spin during a trackday in London, New Hampshire. The bike may not be exactly in its element and I’m sure the guy riding doesn’t feel as confident as on a CBR1000RR model, but as hard as it may be to believe, he actually manages to scrap a knee and live to tell the tale…or post in on youtube.

That’s kind of like driving a stretch limo around a race track only that much more spectacular!

Writing about the 2009 Victory Vision , I didn’t had enough fingers on one hand to count the number of models available, but their 2010 lineup simplifies things at least from that point of view. Instead of having the Victory Vision Street/Premium/Tour/Tour Comfort/Tour Premium and a very beautiful 10th Anniversary Vision Tour, they’ve simply kept the Victory Vision Tour and created an all-new Vision 8-Ball model for 2010.

That’s rather interesting because we expected the Vision family to grow even bigger, but at least it makes it easier for customers to pick a bike.
