The Ducati Multistrada 1200 is one of the most versatile motorcycles in Ducati’s lineup thanks to its ergonomic architecture and the four preset riding modes. The riding modes (Enduro, Urban, Sport, Touring) can be interchanged even while riding. Needles to say, you also get an electronic Ride-by-Wire (RbW) system, Ducati’s Traction Control system (DTC) and ABS brakes.
The motorcycle’s center piece is represented by an 1198.4 cc, L-twin cylinder, 4 valve per cylinder, Desmodromic, dual spark, liquid cooled unit. Start the engine and you’ll unleash an impressive amount of power - 150 hp to be more exact - and a peak torque of 124.5 Nm. All this power is sent to the ground by means of a six speed transmission.
The 2014 Ducati Multistrada 1200 uses a tubular steel trellis frame. The front wheel is located by a Marzocchi 50mm Fully Adjustable Usd Fork adjustable upside-down fork, while the rear wheel is located by a single sided swing arm.
It is also worthy of being mentioned that the bike weighs in at 224kg with a full tank of gas.
Prices start from $16,995.
