Jay Leno took a brake from all the supercars he reviewed lately and in its latest episode of his show he decided to take a look at the 1956 Maserati A6G-2000 Allemano - a model that took best in its class at Pebble Beach 2011.
The car was brought to him by Jonathan Segal - the owner of this exquisitely restored Allemano.
What makes the Maserati A6G-2000 even more special - next to being a very cool classic car, is that only 21 units were ever built by coach builder Allemano. The A6G-2000 was the first sports car developed by Maserati after the World War II and was powered by a 2-liter six-cylinder engine with an output of about 140 horsepower.
Currently the A6G-2000 are very expensive cars, as there were a few units sold for a few millions at the current auctions.
Check out the video to see what Jay Leno thinks about the 1956 Maserati A6G-2000 Allemano.

Back in October we reported that SRT needed to slow production of the new generation Viper , due to poor demand. However, it looks like now Ralph Gilles, president and CEO of Chrysler’s SRT Brand and Motorsports, says that the car has indeed a bright future and that the company has "several hundred units outstanding we still have to build."
Gilles said that the Viper indeed had some problems at launch and this is why the company had to postpone initial deliver, but now the interest in the new Viper is very strong.
It looks like the problem was not the car, but the dealers whom had no idea how to promote the car. The new Viper has a base price of $97,395 - a lot more than the previous car, so it was to be expected to hear that customers will ask more for the money. SRT wants to allow its customers to choose "their color, their stripe, their package, their interior," but the dealers wanted to "anticipate the market and ended up creating a car that may not be the right car."
To fix the problem SRT launched a fourth-quarter training program called "All Access Tour" that brings together dealers, current owners and potential customers. Basically thanks to this new program, the potential buyers will have the chance to test the car and see what they will get for the money.

The Arrinera Hussarya has been in the fringes of the auto world in the past couple of years and while it’s probably taken longer to build than a lot of people would’ve liked, the good news is that it’s still in development and not sent back to the heap.
But if the first Polish supercar has any plans to be recognized as a treat to the senses, it has to get past the point of being "in development" and move into becoming a dealership-ready best. Apparently, Arrinera is doing all it can to get the job done and it’s even bringing in help from a very useful source: Lee Noble.
The man responsible for the Noble brand has given his assistance to Arrinera from the very beginning and its no surprise that when the company decided to give the Hussarya a rolling chassis test, Noble was there to give it a spin.
Considering that Noble vehicles are known for their handling, it was a smart move to bring in Lee Noble to see what kind of sagely advice he can give to Arrinera so that the latter can put in into the Hussarya.
We’re still waiting for the supercar to be officially launched as a production model but the wait has been softened a little now that Lee Noble appears to be getting more and more involved in the development of this Polish hammer.

Now that Mercedes said its "Good Bye" to the current SLS AMG with the Final Edition revealed at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, the company is now focusing on the development of its successor. The next AMG GT, also known as the SLC , but internally known as the C190 was caught testing today by our spy photographers, and, as you can see it started to loose that nasty camouflage.
Offered as a direct competitor to the Porsche 911 , the upcoming AMG GT will be offered with at least three engine options, with the base model delivering somewhere between 400 and 500 horsepower and the Black Series version up to 600 horsepower.
The new Mercedes AMG GT is expected to be unveiled at the 2014 German Grand Prix next July. Mercedes said the model will only be offered in a coupe version, but a roadster version could also be offered if the model will prove itself successful.
In the latest episode of Drive, Chris Harris put face to face two of the latest sports cars: the new Porsche 911 Turbo S and the McLaren MP4 12C . Why this strange choice? Well, because the new Turbo S is a very expensive car, and, according to Harris, it "probably needs to fend-off more exotic machinery like a yellow McLaren."
As a reminder, the 911 Turbo S is powered by a turbocharged 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine with direct fuel injection that delivers a total of 560 horsepower. It goes from 0 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds and can hit a top speed of 197 mph. On the other hand, the MP4 12C gets a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 with an output of 616 horsepower. It goes from 0 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds and up to 207 mph.
Check out the video to see which of the two sports car was the best according to Harris.
