With an 85-point advantage, Casey Stoner rider of the Ducati Marlboro Team, claimed another victory in the San Marino Grand Prix at Misano. Casey Stoner confident at Misano

The current leader of the Moto GP championship “threatened” his rivals that his Ducati could be even faster at the race from Misano, Stoner launched this after this weekend won the Czech Grand Prix from Brno. Stoner has currently 60 points and he has won 7 races from a total of 12. His latest victories were at the American Grand Prix and as we said earlier at Brno. Casey Stoner qualified in the pole position for the German Grand Prix. The leader of the championship set a time of 1:22.384 with his Marlboro Ducati. Dani Pedros, finished the qualifying session on the second place with his Repsol Honda after he overtook Marco Melandri on his Honda Gresini. Ducati: Final 2006 testing session concludes at Jerez

The Jerez de la Frontera circuit, the venue for a fantastic opening round win for Loris Capirossi in the MotoGP championship eight months ago, was also the scene for the final testing session of the year which concluded today. Good weather conditions allowed the Ducati Marlboro Team and the Test Team to complete the scheduled work load. Ducati: Bad weather hits first day of testing at Jerez

Loris Capirossi and Casey Stoner were only able to manage a few laps today with the 800cc Ducati Desmosedici GP7.
