Sebastien Bourdais got a little help to win his 4th consecutive Champ Car Championship due to the fact that the officials cancelled the China and Phoenix races.

Bourdais will race this weekend at the Bavaria Beer Champ Car Grand Prix of Holland at the Assen circuit, and for winning the race and the championship he has to outscore his main rival and the local hero Robert Doornbos by 15 points.

Currently there are three races left in this championship: Assen, Australia and Mexico City. The French has an advantage of 53 points in front of Doornbos and with a victory at Assen he will secure his title. Let's now hope that Bourdais will give his best, but if we look in the past and we see the other 3 Champ Car titles we can say for sure that Bourdais will finish the Assen story with a happy end.

The French driver said that he will try to be focused at Assen due to the fact that Robert Doornbos will give his best and will try everything to take some points and get closer to him.
