After Hamilton was the best in the first day of testing at Monza, today it was Alonso who topped the session. Alonso overtook his team mate who placed on the second place with a small difference of 0.03s.
BMW-Sauber’s Nick Heidfeld set the third fastest time of the day at Monza, this meaning that Bmw begins to show its true performances we all wanted to see. Heidfeld overtook Toyota’s Jarno Trulli but also the driver of Scuderia Ferrari, Kimi Raikkonen.
Behind the Ferrari monopost was Renault’s driver Kovalainen.Kovalainen was pleased with the car, even saying that the monopost got better with every run. Vettel continued the good run from the first testing session and followed Kovalainen on the 7th position.
Alex Wurz, from Wiliams-Toyota finished on 8th place while Honda’s Klien finished on 9th. Top ten was closed by Webber . Last positions were ocupied by Takuma Sato on the Super Aguri-Honda monopost and of course by Spyker who got its last place even in the testing session, with its Adrian Sutil.
