After the big "disappointment" for not winning the Bristish Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton finished the day of test on the 1st place.The British driver was with four tenths quicker than BMW Sauber’s Robert Kubica.
Felipe Massa, Ferrari’s driver placed on the 3rd place being slower than Hamilton and Kubica.
It looks like Ralph Schumacher’s runs are getting better and better.After he obtained a good place in the Silverstone qualifying session but disappointed in the race, Schumacher obtained the 4th place in the test session which is quite a good place.He was ahead of the Renault monopost driven by Nelson Piquet Jr., who caused a red flag when his car stopped just after the final chicane.
Red Bull’s driver, David Coulthard also caused a red flag when his car stopped on the track after having some gearbox problems.Coulthard finished the day on the 6th place.
On the 7th place was Toyota’s driver Nico Rosberg.On the 8th place was Torro Rosso’s driver Vitantonio Liuzzi who cause a red flag after loosing some bodywork on the track.
On the 9th place was James Rossiter, Super Agur’s driver. Rossiter set a better time than Honda’s driver Christian Klien.The last driver running in this test session was Spyker’s driver, van de Garde who finished on the 11th place.
This was the final classification after the teams were allowed to run 2 special 10-minute sessions of practice.
