BMW Sauber F1 Team will have a new promotional supplier: Sika

The Swiss company based in Baar, Switzerland, Sika will be supporting the BMW Sauber F1 Team as a Promotional Supplier from 2008. Sika is a speciality chemicals company well known to BMW and already involved in other motor sport projects run by the group. Sika will be appearing as the Official Partner of the Formula BMW World Final 2007, which takes place this weekend in Valencia, Spain. Michael Schumacher will test again for Ferrari

Ferrari officials have announced that Michael Schumacher will participate at the next multi-team test – which will take place between 4 and 6 December at the Spanish circuit of Jerez – as a test driver. Vijay Mallya announced that the newest Formula One team – Force India, former Spyker – will reveal their drivers when he addresses the Motorsport Business Forum on December 5 in Monaco. BMW Sauber will unveil the F1.08 in Munich

2008 Toyota car will be launch in January

Toyota has announced that they will reveal their 2008 car, the TF108, on January 10 at the Japanese team’s technical centre in Cologne, Germany. At this special event will attend the squad’s drivers and members of the team’s management. Toyota endured a tough 2007 campaign, ending the season sixth in the standings, after scoring 13 world championship points.

Timo Glock will race for Panasonic Toyota Racing in 2008

Toyota Motorsport GmbH has confirmed that Timo Glock will race for Panasonic Toyota Racing in 2008. Timo, the reigning GP2 Series champion, has signed a multi-year contract and the team hopes an agreement can be reached with BMW Sauber to allow him to test at Jerez on December 4-6. Toyota announced Kamui Kobayashi as the third driver

Toyota has confirmed that Kamui Kobayashi, a product of the Toyota Young Drivers Programme (TDP), will step up to Formula 1 in 2008 as Panasonic Toyota Racing’s third driver. Franck Montagny leaves Panasonic Toyota Racing

The final day of testing at Barcelona marked Franck Montagny’s last day behind the wheel as third driver for Panasonic Toyota Racing.
