Force India F1 Team is preparing for the four day test (4 – 7 December) held at the Circuit de Jerez in southern Spain. For the test Force India has called no less than seven drivers: Roldan Rodriguez and Giedo van der Garde that will drive for one day each, Giancarlo Fisichella, Franck Montagny and Ralf Schumacher will join the team for a full day’s testing, Christian Klien and Vitantonio Liuzzi will also participate for one day thanks to their outstanding performance in Barcelona. Nascar has finaly anounece the 2008 scheduale. For the next year Nascar made a few changes. The first one is that Nextel Cup will be named Sprint Cup, and the Busch Series will be called Nationwide Series. Adrian Sutil and Christian Klien are willing to do everything in their power to drive for the new Formula One team Force India.
Adrian Sutil signed a long term deal with his current outfit last year and, although his name was linked in the last weeks with other team, he declared that he is now waiting to see who his teammate at Force India would be. He said: “I have a valid contract with Force India for 2008 and I am not looking around elsewhere.”

Ralf Schumacher is still looking for a team that would let him drive in the next Formula One season. The former Toyota driver would really appreciate a contract offer from McLaren, that after Fernando Alonso’s departure hasn’t yet decided who will be Hamilton team mate for the 2008 season.

The Swiss company based in Baar, Switzerland, Sika will be supporting the BMW Sauber F1 Team as a Promotional Supplier from 2008. Sika is a speciality chemicals company well known to BMW and already involved in other motor sport projects run by the group.

After being used for the end of 2007 Nextel Cup season, the Car of Tomorrow will make its official debut at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on 11 December, where Tony Stewart, Matt Kenseth, Jeff Burton, Kasey Kahne and Travis Kvapil will take part in a Goodyear tire test.
The Car of Tomorrow will be used in all Nextel Cup races next year.
Ferrari officials have announced that Michael Schumacher will participate at the next multi-team test – which will take place between 4 and 6 December at the Spanish circuit of Jerez – as a test driver.
Schumacher was Ferrari’s test diver at the last Formula One testing session held at Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya between 13 and 15 November where he drove the Ferrari 2007 one-seater in two of the three test days and obtained the best time.

Vijay Mallya announced that the newest Formula One team – Force India, former Spyker – will reveal their drivers when he addresses the Motorsport Business Forum on December 5 in Monaco.
The Indian billionaire told to the newspaper The Asian Age about his decision to announce the team drivers in Monaco: “From a business point of view, Monaco in early December is the ideal place and time to introduce the Force India F1 concept to the great and good of the global motor sport industry.”
