Casey Stoner claims another victory in the San Marino Grand Prix

With an 85-point advantage, Casey Stoner rider of the Ducati Marlboro Team, claimed another victory in the San Marino Grand Prix at Misano. Stoner overtook Chris Vermeulen (Rizla Suzuki MotoGP) and John Hopkins (Rizla Suzuki MotoGP). Loris Capirossi, Stoner’s team mate from Ducati Marlboro Team took the 4th place. Riviera di Rimini Moto-GP spoilt by rain today

The rain started falling early this morning, on the Misano circuit, forcing riders and teams to perform the free practice session in wet conditions. The session, that took place under intermitted rain, lasted 30 minutes longer. It was extended as the new track has never hosted a race and was never tested till today.
