Valentino Rossi took a superb victory ,at the Dutch TT race track, starting from 11th place on te grid.His 3rd win of the season was also Yamaha’s 150th in total in the premier class of Grand Prix racing.
After having difficulties in the qualifying session, the main cause being the wet race track,there was no room for error from the Italian. Rossi found his rhythm after first laps and then began his spectacular fight to the 1st place.He made several unsuccessful attempts before he overtook the Australian pilot Edwards.

Collin Edwards was unable to close the gap in front of the Italian pilot and lost the lead but all of this after a beautiful fight.
Rossi said that this race was one of the top five of his career. A beautiful race and a superb way to celebrate the 150th win of the Yamaha Racing Team.

Valentino Rossi’s contract with Yamaha expires in 2008 but he says that no way is going to retire.He will race for sure 5 years from now on and he will always search for new challenge.
