The ex-world champion Jacques Villeneuve will move a little bit closer to the Nascar on Monday when he will begin the tests with a Toyota Tundra truck at Chicagoland.
The Canadian driver was invited by the Toyota Nascar team Bill Davis Racing due to the several times in the past when the driver was looking forward to move to the stock car series.
Villeneuve said to the press that he received many offers but he considered that the truck series offers the closest refererence to the Car Of Tomorrow.
The driver looked very glad due to the decision of Bill Davis Racing to include him in he team.He also added that he can hardly wait to work with Bill and the rest of his staff. Villeneuve’s manager, Mr. Craig Pollock added that the invitation received coincided with their decision so start within Craftsman Truck, so the fit was both timely and natural.
