Team SARD getting a Toyota Supra Hybrid

Toyota Team SARD is heading back with some upgrades for the engine. The team announced that it will enter the Denso SARD Supra HV-R in this year’s race, wich will take place in July 15.

The Supra HV-R is a hybrid who got regenerative braking system,10kw in-wheel engines in the front wheels and 150 kw engines in the rear wheels. The engine develops 480 bhp and 376 lb-ft of torque, and the car’s weight will come in at a little over 2,300 pounds.
