Audi dominated the first session of testing at Mugello, with its driver Martin Tomczyk who set the fastest lap time of 1:45.198 minutes.Tom Kristensen followed closely Tomczyk in his Audi A4 DTM.The difference between the 2 cars was only 0.3 seconds.Enough to make Martin Tomczyk the leader of the testing session.

Both drivers were followed by another 3 Audi cars driven by Mattias Ekström, Timo Scheider and Mike Rockenfeller.
The fastest Mercedes-Benz was the one driven by Gary Paffett. Paffett’s 2006-spec AMG Mercedes C-Class overtook the one driven by Jamie Green, which was the best placed driver with a current C-CLass.

This was a testing session clearly dominated by the Audi cars.Audi completed top 5 cars here at "Circuito del Mugello".If the qualifying session works in the same way for Audi as the testing we will know for sure what car will be the winner of this race.What we do not know is what team is going to win.
