Sunday, on August 26th, three Compuware Corvette C6.Rs will vie for the GT1 title in the Grand Prix of Mosport. Team mates Ron Fellows and Andy Pilgrim will race on the Canadian track in bright Arctic White that celebrates the limited edition Ron Fellows ALMS GT1 Champion Corvette Z06. The team will race alongside "standard" Compuware Corvette C6.Rs driven by Johnny O’Connell and Jan Magnussen in the No. 3 Compuware Corvette C6.R, and Oliver Gavin and Olivier Beretta in the No. 4 Compuware Corvette C6.R .
Ron Fellows said that the race is going to be fun and he can hardly wait to drive the car decked out in brilliant white like the production car. Pilgrim said that he feels the same way about the race in Canada and that he will try to do his best on the Canadian race track.
For Fellows and Pilgrim will be a very busy weekend because on Saturday they will drive in the twin Cadillac CTS- V race cars in a 50-minute SCCA SPEED World Challenge GT sprint race on Saturday, and their Corvette C6.R in the two-hour, 45-minute ALMS race on Sunday.
The Grand Prix of Mosport represents the 9th round of the 12-race ALMS series and will start at 3 p.m. EDT on Sunday, August 26.
