Jeroen Bleekemolen claims his third flag-to-flag victory


At the ninth championship round of the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup in Istanbul, Jeroen Bleekemolen (Netherlands) celebrated another flag-to-flag victory. The 25-year-old ex-DTM pilot made a good start from pole position and was able to pull away from his opponents early on in the race to receive the chequered flag in first position. Porsche RS Spyder in front row at Toronto


Timo Bernhard (Germany) and Romain Dumas (France) take up the ninth round of the American Le Mans Series from the front row. On the Mosport International Raceway, situated close to Toronto (Canada), Dumas in his #7 Porsche RS Spyder was only beaten to pole position by Rinaldo Capello in an Audi A10, which starts in a different category allowing an extra 200 hp and a superior power-to-weight ratio. Jeroen Bleekemolen secures pole position for third consecutive time


Jeroen Bleekemolen from the Netherlands takes up the first race of the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup in Istanbul from pole position. Bleekemolen needed just one flying lap to secure the fastest time with 1:58.477 minutes. This marks the 25-year-old ex-DTM pilot’s fourth pole position so far this season. Hot weekend in the DTM championship at Nurburgring


This weekend will be a hot one for the current leader of the DTM championship, Mattias Ekström (Audi A4 DTM).
