This weekend at Mugello, in Italy, at 30 km north of Florence is going to take place the 6th round of the 2007 Dtm Championship.So far, 5 different drivers won this race and is still a mystery who is going to be favourite in Italy.

It seems that Bernd Schneider, is favourite to win the race on the Italian race track. Schneider is driving for Mercedes-Benz and he is currently the leader of the championship after finishing in the 2nd place at the race from Nuremberg. Schneider leads the championship wit 25.5 points and he is being closely followed by Audi’s drivers, Mattias Ekstrom(24 points) and Martin Tomczyk(20 points) and team-mate Bruno Spengler(17 points).On te 5th place remains Garry Paffett with its 16.5 points and Paul di Resta with 16 points.

Since the point scoring in the DTM has been adjusted to that of Formula 1 in 2002, the top 6 pilots have never been closer togheter after 5 races.
