Andretti Green Racing team had a superb day Sunday at the Detroit Indy Grand Prix. Their two drivers Tony Kanaan and Danica Patrick made a big surprise. Tony Kanaan won the Detroit Indy Grand Prix while Danica followed him closely on the second place. The 3rd driver of the team, Dario Franchitti, took only the 6th place. Not a bad place for Franchitti considering that he is currently the leader of the IndyCar Series Championship.

Andretti Green Racing’s Tony Kanaan dominated the Miejer Indy 300 at Kentucky Speedway Saturday night, scoring his second consecutive IndyCar Series race win and a league-leading fourth victory of 2007 to move into title contention with three races remaining.
Starting second, Kanaan traded the early lead with teammate and championship leader Dario Franchitti for the first half of the 200-lap contest, then out raced Scott Dixon and A.J. Foyt IV to post his 11th career IndyCar victory. (...) > Full story
On a day when more than half the IndyCar Series field was eliminated by crashes, Andretti Green Racing’s Tony Kanaan bested teammate Marco Andretti in a final 10-lap duel to win Sunday’s Firestone Indy 400 at Michigan Speedway. It was Kanaan’s third victory of the season, and kept his championship hopes alive with four races remaining.
