Bayliss (Ducati Xerox Team) takes provisional pole at Assen TT circuit

Troy Bayliss (Ducati Xerox) and his Ducati 1098 F08 took provisional pole in this afternoon’s qualifying session at Assen’s TT Circuit. Despite a bad fall while training on his bicycle in Montecarlo two days ago, Bayliss was the only Superbike rider to lap in under 1m40s today. Dry conditions meant that all riders were nevertheless recording some very quick times with the 19 fastest riders behind Bayliss all lapping within a second of each other. Bayliss and Fabrizio eager to compete at the Assen TT circuit this weekend

The Ducati Xerox Team moves on to Assen for Round 4 of the World Superbike championship this weekend. Having extended his championship lead on board the Ducati 1098 F08 with two second place finishes in front of a record number of spectators at the latest round in Valencia, Troy Bayliss is eager to see his success continue in The Netherlands. Rossi seals Yamaha’s 150th victory

Valentino Rossi took a superb victory ,at the Dutch TT race track, starting from 11th place on te grid.His 3rd win of the season was also Yamaha’s 150th in total in the premier class of Grand Prix racing. After having difficulties in the qualifying session, the main cause being the wet race track,there was no room for error from the Italian.
