Ford is now thinking smaller than the Ka for Europe. Starting 2012, the company will also add the A-Max city car, a sub €10,000 model with a design inspired by the latest Ka, Fiesta and Focus. When a Formula 1 champion is testing a future car we know to expect something big. This is the case with the next generation Mercedes E63 AMG lately being caught testing by Mika Häkkinen. The official debut will be made in 2009 at the Frankfurt Auto Show. The 2010 E63 AMG will be powered by a 6.2-liter V8 under the hood, good for an output of 514 hp. So if the CTS Sport Wagon is successful, it wouldn't be too far of a stretch for Cadillac to make a CTS-V wagon. If built, the CTS-V station wagon will compete with models like Audi RS6 or Mercedes E63 AMG, but will be much more cheaper: considering the 2009 CTS-V sedan will start right at $60,000, the wagon version would still likely be about $25,000 less expensive than the E63 wagon.
