If yesterday Lumma was revealing the CLR 558 GT package based on the new generation Porsche Cayenne, today the tuner announced the CLR X650 package based on the BMW X6. The name might sound familiar to you as last year the tuner revealed the CLR X650 M based on the BMW X6 M. Official debut will be made at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
The exterior package includes a new front spoiler, rear bumper, side skirts, sporty looking bonnet, rear spoiler and carbon fiber inserts on the rear lip, mirror covers, front kidneys and headlamp visors. For the interior Lumma is offering leather upholstered sports steering wheel and leather covered carbon-look interior ledges. All the interior is covered in leather upholstery in black and beige, complete with decorative seams in the contrasting color. The final touch to the car’s interior upgrade is the color coordinated instruments and the aluminum pedals with anti-slip rubber coating.
The engine updates is only offered for the diesel versions. Thanks to an accelerator pedal power module and a new sports exhaust system the engine now delivers 340 HP and 670 NM of torque.
Ever since its official launch the new generation Porsche Cayenne has received lots of impressive tuning package. The latest one comes from Lumma Design and includes both exterior and interior updates, but also an impressive engine update.
The CLR 558 GT package includes a new front spoiler, rear bumper, side skirts, sporty looking bonnet and rear spoiler, but also lots of carbon fiber elements: rear lip, rear diffuser and front spoiler bottom all made from the ultra-light yet sturdy material. The whole look is completed by new exhaust system with middle tailpipe of a diameter of 100 millimeters flanked by the two 80 millimeter ones. The CLR 558 GT sits on 22" sports rims.
The interior gets a two-tone leather upholstery, Alcantara covering all the interior’s plastic coverings, an ergonomically shaped sports steering wheel (which includes an airbag) and the carbon-look interior ledges, color-coordinated instruments and aluminum pedals with anti-slip rubber coating.
For the diesel model, Lumma has increased the total output from 240 HP to 276 HP and the peak torque goes from 550 NM to 630 NM.
The Essen Motorshow may be just around the corner, but some tuners have opted to move on from the German tuning extravaganza to prepare themselves for the next auto show on the list: The 2011 Geneva Motor Show. Lumma Design and Shaston are just two of these tuners as they will be headed to Geneva to unveil their newly tuned BMW 760Li.
Lumma and Shaston have come together to provide a new tuning package for the long wheel-based BMW to give it a more aggressive look. This was accomplished by an exterior package containing a new front that integrates grid inserts, fog lights, and LED daytime running lights. An exclusive lower suspension setting drops the longer legged luxury sedan while the new wheel arch extensions, special set of deep door-sills, and the new rear diffuser add to the sharper look of the vehicle.
The whole appearance of the BMW 760li is completed by genuine carbon/Kevlar covering the exterior mirror caps, kidney front grille frame, all door handle covers, the boot lid trim, the four-piece pillar trim set for doors, and the mud guards. The entire package is finished by 20" light alloy rims.
There is still no word as to whether or not there have been any changes to the BMW’s direct injected TwinPower Turbo V12, but we think the power output of 544 HP and 553 lb-ft of torque should be enough for most. Guess we’ll find out in Geneva.
We don’t know what it is about the Porsche Cayenne that makes tuners from all over the world jump up for joy at the chance to get their hands on Porsche’s little SUV, but here we are again with another tuner and another set of upgrades for the beloved Porsche. This time it’s Lumma Design and they have touched up the Porsche Cayenne with exterior and interior modifications, with an engine update to follow very soon.
The Porsche Cayenne CLR 558 GT gets its exterior tweaks with a new front bumper with enlarged air inlets, integrated front fog lamps and daytime running lights, different carbon-fiber inserts, a sport-look hood made of carbon-kevlar with integrated ventilation openings, wheel arch extensions with door attachments, and a rear bumper with an integrated rear diffuser. The interior mods are a little less intense with two-tone, high quality leather upholstery - Alcantara or exotic skin - pedals made in aluminum with integrated non-slippery elements, and different carbon fiber inserts being the only adjustments.
Since information for the engine update has not been released yet we can only imagine that the 558 in the name of the finished product is hinting at the number of ponies that this SUV is willing to throw out. If this is the case, that would mean that Lumma Design was able to pinch out an extra 58hp from the 4.8-liter V8 biturbo that powers the most powerful Cayenne. Sweet!
Okay, here it is. At the end of July, we received an email with a few pictures detailing the new tuning package that was going to be put on the BMW 7-Series sedan by Lumma Design. We promised that we would get back to everyone as soon as we received the official details, and we now have them. Lumma Design has unveiled a new aerodynamic package for the 7-Series that will include a new front spoiler bumper, grid inserts, fog lights and LED daytime running lights, cup spoiler sword, rear apron corners, a set of deep door-sills, and a new rear diffuser.
Aside from the aerodynamic updates, Lumma Design has also added carbon elements on the exterior mirror caps, the kidney front grille frame, all door handle covers, the boot lid trim, and the four-piece pillar trim set for doors and mud guards. The exterior package is finished by impressive 22-inch light alloy rims fitted with 265/30 high-performance Vredestein tires in the front and 295/25 in the rear.
For the interior, the tuner is offering an aluminum two-piece pedal set with matching footrest, foot mats in the color in which the customer chooses with a Lumma logo and boot mat in any color, also featuring the embroidered logo.
One thing that did disappoint us about the official details is that nothing was done to increase power for the V12 engine that was just hanging out under the hood. Come one, guys! Show us the power!
We saw the first package from the newly sprung partnership between Lumma Design and Top Car back in June when they released a photo shoot featuring the CLR X 650. That venture was not the last we were going to see of this new endeavor. so we sat back and patiently waited for the next vehicle to be presented. Enter the CLR 500 RS2 based off of the new BMW 5-Series and upgraded with both engine and aerodynamic updates.
But let’s start at the beginning. For the exterior, the tuners are offering a carbon fiber hood, wing extensions, a new front spoiler with huge air intakes, LED lights, new side skirts, a new rear spoiler, and a diffuser made by carbon fiber. Rounding off the exterior of the BMW is a new set of wheels and a matte black paint. The interior also gets lots of carbon fiber inserts. All of this makes the CLR 500 RS2 anything, but subtle.
The kit is based on a 535i, which in its standard version develops a total of 306 HP. But after a few tricks, the engine’s output has been increased to an impressive 380 HP. The price for the kit is $174,000.

Now that the States may be receiving a diesel variant for the ol’ Porsche Cayenne, it’s fitting that we take a look at a tuning package for the luxury SUV. As of right now, Americans may not be all too interested in a diesel from Porsche, but things change rapidly and we want to be prepared for it. The new tuning package comes from Lumma Design, who recently prepared a monstrous cosmetic package for the petrol version of the Cayenne.
For the diesel variant now being sold in Europe, Lumma Design has opted to not only give it a cosmetic makeover, but an engine makeover as well. A D-box plug and play kit has been added that increases the Cayenne’s horsepower from 240 to 276. The torque also gets a jump from 550 to 630Nm. This change allows the SUV to get noticeable savings in fuel consumption. Who doesn’t love that? And if you want to add a little flare under the hood as well, then Lumma can also provide the consumer with an engine optics package. This package consists of red-coated covers and a crest logo made of metal.

We’ve been thrown a bone, but we aren’t quite sure if it’s tasty yet. In an email sent to TopSpeed we have received several images of the BMW 760Li V12 Individual tuned up by Lumma Design. The email doesn’t say much, but it does say that the tuning package will be revealed in three weeks time and that the first demonstration car is currently in Switzerland.
From what we can tell from these images, the LummaBMW 760Li has received a new front spoiler with larger air intakes, new side skirts, and a new rear spoiler. LED daytime running lights can also be seen as well as some wider fenders with air vents. Carbon fiber trim can also be seen on the mirror caps, grille, side vents, and trunk.
We can only imagine that the V12 sitting under the hood has received some modification as well. No use in tuning a car if you’re not going to pump up the power, right? Interior modifications are also expected, but we don’t really care about those as much.

Okay, so you might ask why the Russian tuner TopCar has revealed a series of images with the CLR X 650, if the project belongs to Lumma Design. The answer is quite simple: because the two tuners have now formed a partnership and these images are of their first project together.
Lumma was the tuner responsible for the technology, while TopCar made sure the interior got a beautiful makeover. TopCar also provided some input on the color scheme combination and wheels. Next to this amazing Monte Carlo Blue exterior color, the CLR X 650 M can also be ordered in White and Deep Blue.
The Lumma CLR X 650 M is powered by a twin turbocharged 4.4 Liter V8 engine that has been tweaked to produce a total of 650 HP. With these changes under the hood, the SUV makes the sprint from 0 to 60 MPH in 4.5 seconds and can hit a top speed of 194 MPH.
The 2011 Porsche Cayenne was just launched not even two months ago and already the look of the SUV is being transformed. Some may even like this transformation created by Lumma Design considering the Cayenne hasn’t been receiving many points for its looks these days. The new tuning package is called the CLR 550 GT and looks to remodel the Cayenne into a meatier machine.
This package includes a new front spoiler with a deep drawn cup spoiler sword and additional carbon applications, side skirts, and a new rear spoiler with integrated carbon diffuser. These illustrate the "meat" we were referring to before that makes the Porsche look like it is sitting closer to the ground like a bull ready to charge. Lumma Design also added a new sporty bonnet made from high-performance materials such as carbon and Kevlar, which if the Cayenne was the bull, the new bonnet would be its flared nostril. The bonnet comes with air inlets that allow the engine to breathe and let out its heated snort. The bonnet also has an elevated windscreen wiper cover to reduce the aerodynamic drag on the bull...uhhh...vehicle.
Lumma Design’s CLR 500 GT package also features three stainless steel tailpipes, roof edge spoiler, and tear-off edge on the tailgate, both made of carbon fiber. The package is finished off with a wider wheelhouse and 23" aluminum rims with a deep wheel hub.
We are going to give it to Lumma Design on this one. They absolutely transformed the Porsche Cayenne into the beast it deserves to be. The only thing we would add is a little more snarl under the hood, but we will just have to settle for the standard 3.6-liter V6 engine with the 300hp growl. Way to take the bull by its horns, Lumma!
