BMW 7 Series vs Porsche Panamera Turbo
Before the M5 came out, this 7 Series BMW model hadn’t seen a pair of taillights within its stable. Even though it’s not the fastest performer anymore, you cannot underestimate this beauty. In this video, the BMW M760Li xDrive takes on the Porsche Panamera Turbo in a battle that, spec-wise, seems well-matched. The BMW M760Li xDrive is a long wheelbase model that comes packed with a 6.6-liter, twin-turbo, V-12 that develops 610 horses and 590 pound-feet of torque. Monstrous, right? The Porsche Panamera Turbo, on the other hand, features a 4.0-liter, V-8 that produces 550 ponies and 568 pound-feet of torque.
The 60 extra horses do not exactly give the 7 Series an advantage. Even though it is stronger on paper, it takes a beating because of an extra 400+ pounds and that longer wheelbase. The Panamera, thanks to its light chassis comes too close to the Bimmer in terms of performance. The video features a couple of runs, and you can decide for yourself which beauty is the winner.
