It was finished on August 1st, 1969 and was the first E-body produced. It also was the prototype the company used to promote the Cuda on the US market. Hemi Cuda was built only until 1971 in both coupe and convertible version. The engine is the Hemi Cuda developed a total of 450 HP and nearly 500 lb-ft of torque and was offered with a choice of four-speed manual or three-speed Torqueflite automatic transmissions.
