Sedans

2015 Mercedes S65 AMG

Mercedes will also be rolling out the new-generation S-Class AMG. The powertrain is said to be the carryover 6.0-liter, V-12 engine with power outputs of 621 horsepower and zero to 60 mph sprints of 4.2 seconds. The exterior styling receives most of the attention with an even more aggressive look and plenty of chrome bits, with a healthy update to the leather-covered interior.

Acura RLX Sport Hybrid SH-AWD

Acura is debuting a Sport Hybrid version of the 2014 RLX sedan that will feature Acura’s famously awesome SH-AWD all-wheel-drive system. It’s said to lay down V-8 performance while delivering four-banger fuel economy numbers. The 3.5-liter, iVTEC V-6 is combined with three electronic motor and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to provide, “outstanding handling and all-weather performance capabilities." We’re fans of that!

2014 Kia K900

Looks like Kia will be getting its own version of the Hyundai Equus. Kia’s sister company, Hyundai, will be sharing the Equus platform for what’s rumored to be called the Kia K900, a rear-drive, V-8 sedan that rivals the likes of BMW’s 7 Series. A 5.0-liter, V-8 engine powers the current 2014 Equus and makes 429 horsepower. No word on whether the K900 will use the same engine or if the output numbers will be the same.

Mercedes SLS AMG GT Final Edition

Mercedes attempted to trick us by revealing a small teaser image of an upcoming model on its Facebook page, but it didn't do a very good job. The image was clearly of the SLS AMG GT, and we all knew that a Final Edition model was due to roll out. So, Mercedes went ahead and released more details on the model without teasing us any further, but the information was scant and we should learn much more on it in LA.

Coupes

2014 Mini Cooper

Mini has been teasing the new Cooper for a while now, but just recently released official specs and images on the popular little Brit. It takes a trained eye to spot many differences between the new Cooper and the outgoing model, but the overall design language is more aggressive with sharply steeped A-pillars and a wider grille. A family of new three-cylinder engine finds a home under the Mini Cooper’s hood, along with the conventional four-cylinder. Interestingly enough, the three-cylinder engines will also be offered in the new BMW 3-Series model, know as the 316i.

2013 Subaru Legacy Concept

We have to admit to the drool dripping from our gaping mouths on this one. The 2013 Legacy Concept is quite the looker. The concept helps celebrate the Legacy nameplate’s 25th anniversary in the United States. With the new generation of Legacy arriving soon, we suspect much of the design language will be derived from the concept you see here. The sharper, hawk-eyed headlamps and hexagonal grille give the Legacy an aggressive appearance while the new interior will coddle occupants with a full array of new technology.

2013 Honda FCEV Concept

Honda will be pulling the covers off this new FCEV Concept tomorrow, Nov. 20th, and according to initial details, the concept could possibly be a fuel-cell electric vehicle. It’s set for U.S. release in 2015. Not much more is know about the FCEV besides it will possibly be the most futuristic vehicle at the LA Auto show.

Convertibles

2014 BMW 4 Series Convertible

We’ve had images of the new 4 Series convertible for a while now, but the car will be making its official debut this week. BMW says the 4 Series convertible is a less-expensive alternative to the luxurious 6 Series drop top and is marketed to a younger crowd. Obviously much of the 4-Series design language still exists and everything under the gleaming sheet metal is identical to its coupe cousin.

Trucks & SUVs

2015 Chevrolet Colorado

The debut of the new Chevrolet Colorado and its GMC cousin is big news for General Motors. The Colorado represents the last installment in a completely redesigned and updated pickup truck line up for Chevrolet. Everything from the Silverado 1500 through 3500 is all new for 2014 and 2015. The Colorado is already on sale in other parts of the world, but the U.S.-spec version will look slightly different. Above is our artist’s idea of its possible look. No official word on what lies under the hood, but rumors suggests the new 4.3-liter EcoTec3 or even the familiar 3.6-liter V-6 found in many GM car and crossover platforms.

2014 Jeep Wrangler Willys Wheeler Edition

We’re big Jeep Wrangler fans here at TopSpeed and new special-edition Wranglers make us giddy. The latest edition pays homage to Jeep's storied past as a wartime transport that first saw action in WWII. The Willys Wheeler’s name comes from the original company who built the Jeep back in 1941, Willy. The new Willys Wheeler edition is based on the Jeep JK Sport model and gets unique paint with a few graphics such as the “Willy” stenciled on the hood and “4 Wheel Drive” on the tailgate. Its also sporting the wheel and tire package normally found on the Rubicon model.

2015 Porsche Macan

The new Macan is Porsche’s second foray into the SUV realm after releasing the Cayenne back in the mid 2000s. The Macan has been seen in numerous spy shots and was known under its working name of "Cajun." Designed as the Cayenne’s little brother, the Macan is slotted as more an entry level Porsche to attract younger buyers. Many of the official specs on the new SUV leaked on the Internet, but only in a press release written in Chinese. Our Chinese is a bit rusty, but we were able to decipher the Macan will be offered in three trim levels: the S, Diesel S, and Turbo; with the Turbo version making some 400 horsepower.

2015 Ford Edge

The official images of the 2014 Ford Edge have yet to be seen, but this artist rendering shows what possibilities lie ahead for the popular Crossover. It gets Ford’s new corporate Aston-Martin-like styling from the Fusion and is planed to be a global vehicle. Not much is know about the underpinnings or powertrain, but we suspect the current lineup of EcoBoost engines will find home behind the new grille. The possibility also exists for a diesel since the new Edge is targeted as a global platform. We’ll just have to see whether Ford has the guts to bring an oil-burner to the States. (fingers crossed!)

2014 Nissan Juke Nismo RS

It’s hard to believe how well the Juke has done in the U.S. market with its bug-eyed, funky styling. Nissan also struck a chord with the Juke-R, the 500-horsepower crazy-mobile that is perhaps the ultimate import sleeper. While we know Nissan is bringing this new Juke Nismo RS to the LA Auto Show, the details are still pretty thin. We suspect the Nismo RS is picking up where the Juke Nismo left off, so the RS version might see improvements to the current 1.6-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged engine and get a more sport-tuned suspension.

Stay tuned to TopSpeed for all the developing information as the manufacturers roll out their new products.
