Supercars

Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4

The all-new Huracan will make an appearance in Geneva, but we already know just about all there is to know about the new supercar. Regardless of the lack of new information, getting the chance to see the greatness that is a Huracan again is news in itself. Keep an eye out for more detailed performance specs on the Huracan in Geneva, as the time is about right for Lambo to lay out what the Gallardo's replacement can really do.

Sedans

Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge

The Q50 Eau Rouge already made its first appearance at the Detroit Auto Show in January, but is headed for Geneva for some extra time in the spotlight and to reveal what powertrain lies under that chiseled hood. All we know at this point is the engine will feature forced induction within a V-type engine block. The Eau Rouge is based on the standard Q50 sedan, but nearly every detail was reworked for a racier feel. It’s likely the Eau Rouge will go into production, helping Infiniti make a name for itself on the track in the public’s hands.

2015 Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II

Rolls-Royce will be showing of its Ghost Series II at Geneva despite it being rather early in its revamp cycle. (We’re remembering the 9-year wait between the 2003 Phantom and the 2012 Phantom Series II) As you can see from the photo above, the grille gets a slight rework as to the Chrysler 300-looking headlights. A prominent center line creases down the hood that likely covers the same 6.6-liter V-12 engine already in use. Rolls-Royce may bump the power and torque up, but nothing official has been said.

2015 Bentley Flying Spur V-8

In case the twin-turbo W-12 engine in your current Flying Spur was draining funds from your offshore bank account too quickly with its less-than-stellar fuel economy, Bentley will be debuting its new Flying Spur V-8. It’s said to add 2 mph city, 4 mpg highway, with 2 mpg combined over the W-12. Everything else on the car will likely remain the same except for a lowered price tag.

Coupes

Bentley Continental GT Speed

However, if you’re not worried about fuel economy, the W-12 Continental GT Speed is now available with more horsepower. Reworked to produce 626 horsepower and 605 pound-feet of torque, the GT Speed can run a healthy 206 mph. Zero to 60 mph comes at a rather quick 4.0 seconds, making this the fastest Bentley in production. Besides the powertrain, the body get slightly revamped, returning some long-lost elegance to the car.

Audi TT

Audi’s smallest car, the TT (Tourist Trophy), will show off its third generation at the Geneva show. It sports a nicely restyled design inside and out with cues still tying it to the TT lineage. Early reports suggest the TT will be powered by a 1.4-liter TSI engine making 186 horsepower and a 2.0-liter TDI diesel making 170 horsepower. We’re not sure what will power the TT-S, the more powerful version seen above. We do know, however, the TT will be a great model in the Audi lineup and give Porsche Cayman and Nissan 370Z owners something to worry about.

2015 Lexus RC F GT3 Concept

Lexus has already given us the mighty RC F sports coupe at the Detroit Auto Show but will now be bringing this artfully colorful concept complete with an aggressive aero kit and a massive wing. The car is modified to meet the strict Group GT3 international racing standards. Weighing in at only 2,755.8 pounds, the race ready car is powered by modified version of the RC F’s mill, with output numbers expected to exceed 540 horsepower.

2015 McLaren 650S

We predicted the 650S would be a souped-up version of the McLaren 12C and not the upcoming P15, and would produce 650 horsepower, as its name suggests. Though it is worth nothing the power rating of 650 is measured in Pferdestärke (PS), so once measured in our familiar horsepower scale, the output drops to 640. That’s no big deal though, because the car still has a host of visual upgrades and aerodynamic additions to help it look meaner and perform better on the track. With a 0-60 mph time under three seconds and a top speed of nearly 210 mph, the McLaren 650S won’t have a hard time outrunning its rivals.

2014 Volkswagen Scirocco R

We’ve first got to say it saddens us the U.S. won’t be getting the Scirocco as VW somehow doesn’t think It would do well in this market. That’s too bad as the little coupe makes plenty of power with its 2.0-liter I-4 engine and sends power to an AWD system. Though the torque numbers haven’t been release yet, horsepower is rated at 276. Top Speed is listed at a governed 155 mph and 0 to 60 comes in 6.5 seconds. Most of the changes for the 2014 model consist of exterior work. The VW-esque interior remains relatively unchanged.

Hatchbacks & Wagons

2014 Volvo Concept Estate

The Concept Estate is a thing of beauty. Period. It’s also the last of three concepts Volvo has been teasing us with for months. The Concept Coupe and Concept XC Coupe both share similar design elements with this shooting brake, though each have their own unique look. The interior is an amazing collaboration of colors, materials, and flowing lines that remind us of the Tesla Model S with the huge touch screen mounded mid-dash. The cargo area looks more like something off the latest iteration of the Starship Enterprise. We’ve certainly got our fingers crossed for these three to see production.

2015 Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake

Jaguar seems ready to play in the supercar-wagon realm with their beautiful XFR-S Sportbrake. While scarce, its competitors mean business with the Cadillac CTS-V Wagon, Audi RS6, and the macho Mercedes E63 AMG being top rivals. Power is said to come from a 5.0-liter V-8 making 543 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed auto sends twist to the rear wheels and features a “Quickshift” mode that first saw use in the new F-Type. We love the fact wagons seem to be making a comeback and that their doing is such a powerful way.

VW Golf GTE

As if the Golf didn’t already have enough powertrain options, VW is launching yet another one, this time a plug-in hybrid. The car uses a 1.4-liter TSI gasoline engine to create 148 horsepower and an electric motor built into the transmission that produces 101 horsepower with the total coming out to 201 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Zero to 60 mph should happen in 7.4 seconds. In full electric mode, the car has an electric-only range of 31 miles. Switch on the gas engine and the range jumps to 584 miles. Combined, the system is rated at 130 MPGe.

2014 Mini Clubman Concept

The Clubman Concept is on its way to Geneva with “Concept” still in its name, however, it appears to be nearly production-ready. It sports a newly restyled exterior update and some much-needed interior attention. The interior is where the “concept” term comes into play. While it seems totally feasible, the huge center stack screen and futuristic center console might bee too forward for current production. Power comes from two sources: a 1.5-liter inline three making 136 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, along with a 2.0-liter inline four making 192 horses and 206 pound-feet of torque. One interesting aspect of the new Mini is its double glass panorama roof.

2014 Opel Astra OPC EXTREME

The OPC EXTREME is literally an extreme version of the standard Opel Astra. This particular car is set up for racing much like the OPC Cup car. Though it’s fully street-legal, the EXTREME will be good for over 300 horsepower and feature yards of carbon fiber. An aggressive aero kit helps provide downforce while a revamped interior helps dress things up. Overall, the OPC EXTREME will be a fun choice for those looking to street fun that’s completely at home on the track.

SUVs & Crossovers

2014 Skoda Octavia Scout

The Octavia Scout marks Skoda’s first real step in the crossover segment. Looking something like a Subaru Outback, the Scout will be powered by either a 2.0-liter TDI or a 1.8-liter TSI gasoline mill. Both engine’s output numbers have yet to be released, but both will be connected to an advanced AWD system that is sure to make it reasonable choice for a gentleman’s wagon while exploring the English countryside.

Subaru Viziv 2 Concept

Last year, Subaru brought us the Viziv Concept, a crossover that was said to preview the company’s future design language. Now a year later, the company is bringing a new concept to debut, the Viziv 2. Nothing is known about the car yet, but from the single teaser shot shown above, the car will be a large departure from last year’s concept. Subaru is unfortunately know for previewing really great-looking concepts and failing for transfer those designs for production cars, but we hope the trend changes soon.

2014 Hyundai Intrado Concept

Hyundai has stepped way outside their box on the Intrado Concept seen here. Sporting what Hyundai calls its “Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design,” the concept wears an all-new face not seen before by the Korean automaker. The interior is just as ‘different’ as the exterior. Bright orange interior panels contrast dark carbon fiber accents that run throughout the cabin. Power comes from a version of the hydrogen fuel cell found in the Hyundai ix35 Fuel Cell. Not much more is known now, but all the details will surely be available once the Geneva show gets underway.
