New to the grid is the Audi R8 LMS Ultra that took top honors at the Nurburgring 24 Hours race in 2014, and the Audi R18 quattro that’s battling it out in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Exclusive to the R8->ke1440 kit is a winner’s podium and trophy, while the R18 gets a fuel pump.

Why It Matters

How can you not love stuff like this? You get to build the car from scratch, then admire your handiwork in all its detailed glory. The only problem is if you have kids, you may find yourself debating who has the right to display it. Personally, I think it makes a fantastic addition to any bookshelf or desk, whether it’s complementing novels or fairy tales.

Plus, with Audi now joining the ranks, I can finally have that epic showdown between the R18, McLaren Mercedes F1, and Raptor. The F1 car should have the high speed needed to pull away down the hallway straight, while the R18’s AWD system will come into play around the slippery dog bowl chicane. As for the Raptor, well, it’s gonna need to really shine when it hits that backyard off-roading section…
