After many years of speculation, the M2 has finally arrived as the smallest M->ke546 car BMW->ke178 has built to date. Marketed as a spiritual successor to the 1M Coupe and the E30 M3, the M2->ke546 has created quite a stir among BMW enthusiasts, but we won't find out how good it really is until it hits U.S. dealerships next spring.

Until then, we'll have to settle with the teasers BMW has in store for us, including this new video in which the M2 is being zipped at the Salzburgring by DTM driver Augusto Farfus.

The Brazilian seems fascinated with the M2 as he laps the 2.6-mile track, calling it "super agile" more than once and claiming that driving it offers a "fantastic feeling." But, the reason why Farfus is so excited about the M2 is not because the coupe is a tremendous race car.->ke148 I'm not saying it isn't a fun car to drive at the track, but given Farfus has been driving for BMW in both the WTCC and DTM since 2007, he kinda has to be thrilled about Munich's brand-new M car, if you know what I mean.

Hit play to watch Farfus lap the Salzburgring and make sure you use the arrows in the upper left corner of the screen to change your view. BMW recorded this footage as an interactive video->ke278 showing the perspective a front seat passenger would get.
