Remember the 12 hp Isetta unveiled for the first time in April, 1955? BMW decided that the small Bubble car is ready for a came back! When this will happen? Not so far away! In 2010 when it will come to compete with Smart and Fiat!

The 2010 Isetta will be powered by the same rear-mounted engine but the output will be increased thanks to the efforts of BMW’s powertrain development team. Due to its tiny size and light weight, the new Isetta will have the lowest CO2 output of any car in BMW’s range.

The Isetta was one of the most successful microcars produced in the post-WWII years. It became known as the ‘bubble car’ because of its egg shape and bubble-like windows.
